Its now time for a change to the 17 at this stage of the season and Ellis and James need to be given a run in the team for the remainder of the season to see if they are up to the standard & whether they need to be retained for next season. A club the size of WTW can't afford to loan out SL proven hookers in their mid 20s to Championship clubs.

We also lack punch up front yet James is not seen as the answer. He needs 3/4 games on the bounce with lots of game time and if he doesn't cut it then let him go at the end of the season?



We need a squad that is going to contribute to the first teams performance over the season. I'd rather we have a squad of 24 that all have a chance of making the 17 than a squad of 35 where some never feature.

Cant understand why we havnt given them game time had we been winning and looking good then you could understand thought Agar would have had 4 forwards on the bench Sunday. James being one of them and taken it to the wigan pack yes they are a good side but for 20/25 mins we got among them and it was working.Then we stood back and watched.Then came the normal 2nd half drivel we have served up more than once this season.

couldnt agree more wood should be out of the team and swapped with ellis at fev just dont get it at all.james would def be playing in place of trout or walshaw.i would also bring back wildie from batly play him at 6 put sykes at centre and move danny back to second row.but we have one majour problem......RICHARD AGAR

Is Ellis allowed back from Fev before the end of the season ?

Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't he go on loan for 1 month and then this was extended to a second month ???

Spoke to a fetherstone fan the other day at the pub he said Ellis has been running the show during his time on loan. James did nothing wrong in the team , he is currently a better player than Paul Johnson. Agar has some strange policies

Smith to 6, Aiton to 7 and Ellis at 9 for me

I am prepared to give Agar more time, but I must admit the Ellis situation is a strange one.
One can only assume something has gone on behind the scenes to cause a rift between coach and player.
I remember being pleased with his signing ,a player on the verge of England set up and Quins player of year.
Fans should be given a full explanation as to what is happening, and not left to speculate, as I feel Agar is doing his own cause no good by the situation being shrouded in mystery.

That's exactly how it should be. People were saying earlier in the season that Aiton was playing too well at hooker for Ellis to come in. We all know how good Aiton is so I certainly wouldn't drop him. I'd drop Wood. Ellis is a far more accomplished player and should be in the starting 17 but without doubt our coach has set his stall out for his favoured players and Ellis isn't one of them so I think the writing is on the wall for him.
