Details of the Newmarket Celebration Event are as follows:
The event will be held in Cats Bar at the Rapid Solicitors Stadium on Thursday 19th July 2012. Doors will open at 7.00pm and proceedings will commence at 7.30pm. The plan for the evening will be:
• Forum/Q&A Session – Chaired by Ian Bramley, Chairman of the Supporters Trust with a panel comprising James Elston, Chief Executive of Wakefield Trinity Wildcats, Phil Townsend, SWAG Spokesperson and Media Director of the Supporters Trust and Jonathan Stone, Chairman of Residents for Newmarket.
• Break for a Meal which will be a choice of Chicken or Vegetable Curry plus the usual sundries.
• Raffle and Stand Up/Sit Down Bingo. There will be some excellent prizes including a meal for 2 in Hospitality at one of our remaining games at the Rapid Solicitors Stadium which is a wonderful experience with fantastic food and great company
• Sit back and enjoy the comedy of Pete Emmett who despite being a Halifax fan is very funny.
This will be a ticket only event, limited to 200, and there will be no admission on the door so you will need to purchase your tickets in advance which will be sold on a “first come first served” basis.
Tickets are priced at £15 for non Supporters Trust Members and £10 for Supporters Trust Members. In order to qualify for the concessionary ticket when purchasing you will need to give your name and either your Supporters Trust Share Certificate Number or your Post Code which we should have on our data base.
Tickets will be on sale at Sunday’s game with Wigan from Supporters Trust Board Members who will be around the ground from around 2.30pm. Remaining tickets will then be placed for sale at both Club Shops at the Rapid Solicitors Stadium and in the Ridings. Anyone who has difficulty in purchasing tickets from these venues should e-mail the Trust at wtsupporterstrust@aol.com
All the proceeds from the event will be donated to the Wildcats Community Trust to support the excellent community work they undertake so as well as having a great evening you will also be supporting a very worthwhile cause.

Just for clarity, we do not have the facility for anyone to reserve tickets in advance and then pay when collecting at either of the Club shops.
The purpose of the e-mail address in the first post is to inform us if you are experiencing any difficulty in purchasing tickets at these venues due to some administrative problem so that we can immediately rectify the situation.
Remember tickets are limited to a maximum of 200 (the capacity of Cats with tables) and are being sold on a first come first served basis.

Any chance I can see a curry menu?
Speaking of professional curry eaters..... Saw Eric Pickles on the train (in air conditioned 1st class while the rest of sweated it out!), in any other situation I'd coughed some obscenity, but after NM I just gave him a nod of the head- the highest compliment a true Yorkshireman pays to a politician. Not that I'd vote for him or even speak well of him in normal conversation. But fair does to the fat lad, he came through for us when we needed it.

Nothing that sophisticated I'm afraid. Its either a chicken or a vegatable curry but the chef is making it from scratch, it's not out of a jar or paste. |

Tickets are now on sale from the club shops (Ground and Ridings).
Don't miss your chance to get a ticket to this event which is sure to be a really good night. A chance to celebrate the decision on Newmarket, ask a few questions about what the next steps are and be entertained by a really good comedian in Pete Emmett.

You will see that Pete has done lots of dinners/events with sports personalities and Rugby League clubs in the past.
I can tell you from personal experience he is very funny and worth going to see, he will make this a very entertaining evening.
