| Who's this joker Joe Mills. Think he must have had his back turned to the game.
His points allocations were.
Ben Cockayne 3 points
Paul Aiton 2 points
Danny Orr 1 point
Think if he had have been watching it should have been
Tim Smith 3 points
Andy Raliegh 2 points
Paul Aiton 1 point
Last 2 could have been either way round.
Ben Cockayne did ok but he dived out of the line and let in a try and bombed another not stepping inside. Watching the Tim Smith try when he stepped inside at last second it was a prime example of how to do it.

| Tough call either way. I thought BC played very well, but a few could have picked up points and the likes of Aiton, Cockayne, Raleigh and Kirmond do it week in week out. It is hugely important that the lot of them Smith as well continue on Sunday.

Nothing to do with the rest of the season, just this one game and BC was not in the top 3 players.
Surprised Chase didn't get the points, doesn't usually matter how he plays.

In the opinion of Joe Mills yes, I should have put BC was not in the top 3 =#FF0000 IMO
Your comment was about BC this year, has no bearing on the points for this game, you cannot give someone MOM because they played well previous games

I'd say Ben Cockayne was the most exciting player on the pitch, but that's not the same as the best. He should have grounded that ball before Owen got him and it's not the forst time he's bombed one of those this year. Can't knock him for effort but to be a real great he needs to get that basic part of his game sorted.
MOM for me was deffo between Smith, Raleigh and Aiton - for me it was Raleigh.

I know it's easier to see from sitting in the stands but I said at the time he should have just pulled up slightly and come back inside Owen. The pace Owen was coming at to close him down then he would never have adjusted if Ben had just stepped inside. As it turned out didn't make a difference in this game but there will be games where it does.
I like Ben and he would win MOTM on sheer effort alone most weeks but this week there were better players.

| I notice that the Wakefield Express gave MOM to Ben C also. I agree with Vastman.

I agree. Strange as well because my normal criticism of Ben is he cuts in too often when the direct approach would be better - oh well.
However my real issue is that most players land the ball before their bodies, where as Ben lands his body first and then tries to ground it. For me without being overly critical this is poor execution and costs him a few tries.
