i would like to thank Mr Glover for what you have done for our great club Wakefield Trinity, off the park the club is spot on, new stands, gates up, beer cheap, now and again, Newmarket on the way please. A shop in the centre of Wakefield which we have never had, love it, all the lads i have stood with for a few years talking positive,which is good, so what is wrong, i will tell you, the coach is not good for our club and that is the simple fact. who gave him a three year contract wants locking up, but they will not get rid of him, why, money, he has a contract for three years

,would you get shutt and pay him off, no, why because you have to bring some one else in and pay him.so whats next, season over, all we have too look forward to is, that the gates at our church keep hiting over 7- 8 grand.Thanks

After years of neglect the clubs looking in good shape. One thing we have had at Wakey for years is an us and them attitude. Its worked well with the fans and the team alike. I just dont see it in the players anymore. The present squad of players dont seem hungry, show any a spirit,and we dont have a game breaker. IN SHORT THE PLAYERS AINT UP TO IT. Its strange how after after watchung Wakey for years everything off the field seems to be on the up, while our team seems on the way down.Agars got three years get used to it. I feel sure he will only be shown the door at the end of next season if things dont improve, lets hope that doesnt implode.
I dont know if Agars up to it or not, I do know we lack good players in key positions, and a general lack of ability.I hope Agar gets it wright sooner rather than later

You are in a very small minority ref Mr Agar he is an assistant coach at best and the 13 other SL know this.
Other than that the club is very much on the up after years of bad management
unfortunately results bring the crowds in and the fact is if results and performance do not improve we will be back to square one we have lost 4 out of 5 home games we need a win next Saturday
Its time for the likes of Southern/Collis/Mellers/Smith/John all expensive imports to man up and produce the performance levels we expect
Are these five any better than the Brits they keep out and the Brits we lost
Southern/Mariano lost Ferguson
Collis/Kirkmond lost Murphy
Mellers/Sykes lost George
John/Wildie lost Jeffries (im no fan)
Smith/Wood lost Lee

For my money the first 3 are no better and way behind the 3 we lost ALL Brits
The halfbacks look lost Smith wont take the line on cant pass whats he doing here we have seen 20 minutes v Widnes and 40 v Catalan have we seen anything in him that Wood could not do Or even Tommy Lee last year (That says it all)
John looks out of his depth in SL Does Wildie deserve a chance for me yes and I have wanted Wood at scrum half all season

Forget the lack of size in the pack for now these 5 need to man up or ship out but Agar will stick with them just like he did at Hull with underperforming players

It's certainly not boring, its very relevant.
Have you ever had a topic like this which has divided fans and turned the forum into a squabbling board?
All fans want is success but failing that a team that entertains and certainly plays with pride and passion in the shirt.
It would appear to some that no matter how much the club has improved off the field It's the product on it which will have the biggest effect and this is causing concern.
This debate between fans is Hull for the last 3 year's of Agar's tenure. I'm not a told you so, know it all Hull fan but merely a supporter who has had to endure this before.
For the last 2 season's at Hull I did stop going as I viewed watching Hull as a waste of money and a chore, same old predictable boring rugby with no back up plan when plan A usually failed, I would leave games angry and frustrated.
This season I have renewed my pass for the first time in 2 years, have not missed a match and regardless of the result have enjoyed watching my team, players under Agar that under performed are now like new signings. We have also lost 3-4 thousand fans.
Whilst I don't want this to happen to you guys just make sure your loyalty is not misplaced out of passion for your club.

Powell doesn't seem a bad prospect at the mo

Nothing to complain about really - we put in a fantastic first half performance with some great efforts by Kirmond, Wood and Aiton.

In the end, we got beat by the SL and World Club champions, with a bit of help from Mr Silverwood, who appeared grateful for Sinfield's assistance.

Disappointing to lose, but plenty of positive signs.

The thing is he will not be leaving. For your own sanity don't keep banging this same 'agar out' drum. You will be preaching to the converted or seeming bitter to the divided group. Chanel your energy into supporting the team instead. All you are doing is getting yourself frustrated and het up and I'm sure you can do without that!

We all know that we are well and truly stuck with the coach we have at the moment, but at the end of the day it,s the guys on the pitch that play the game, if they have no heart and no desire and i don,t mean all of them. but its called a TEAM game so the ones who lack team spirit are robbing the fans

think its also about time some of the rosey eyed ones got them opened up to the reality, ive backed this club to the hilt previously but i see no positives at present.

How the hell is his faith any more blinkered than your lack of it. I love this "I respect any ones right to an opinion so long as it's the same as mine" attitude.

FWIW I think Agar was not the best choice for Coach - however not to give him at least a season and a half to prove himself is counterproductive. At least let the dust settle after last year. I don't want continuity for the sake of it but frankly I can't see any Coach getting anything more this season than Agar - apart from the first we have a new Coach game. There is no relegation, so if Agar has a master plan then let him at least have a crack at it.

For me this quick fix sack the Coach mentality has destroyed many a club, it was understandable in the past but now with no P&R it's plain stupid. The Agar team of next season may be just as poor as this, however the line between success and failure at this level is quite small and it could just as easily with a few tweeks be a very good team. That is how the Aussies view it, long term, and that explains why they are the best IMHO.

How very dare we, praise the club when we feel they deserve, lets just come on here and slag it continuously off instead.

Got to laugh that someones rosey eyed if they don't have the same opinion as theirs about he club, then again that person feels there's nothing to be positive about, each to their own I guess.

Please enlighten us on why Newmarket and progress off the field won't secure our place in super league ? Do you know anything about the franchise requirements ?

Cut him in half and he'll bleed red white and blue, he may come over a bit negative at times but he does know is RL.

Whilst I would like to see a lot more from Smith consistently, to say he cannot pass is just garbage imo. His speed and accuracy of passing is better than anyone else in the team by a mile (just wish it was more than occasional glimpses)

What because he's won a game and daft Barrie likes him - okaaaay
