I presume Cockayne and Aiton are injured. I noticed Cockayne carrying his arm a bit last night.

What team have the U20's put out, because pulling some of the players out at 'short notice' must have left a hole - although Cowling has scored a try so he must be 'doubling up'

I cannot understand why James who has represented England in his youth & has a super league background (and is a specialist prop, one of only 2 at the club) has not been chosen...crazy. Sell him if you're not going to use him.

I wonder if R.A. is looking for inspiration? This squad will need it against that Wigan squad.

That squad is ridiculous! No offence to a lot of those youngsters who are more than capable but why is it 'all or none' with regard to changes. All season he's stuck with virtually the same 17, reluctant to make any changes and when he's put a youngster on the bench he's used them for 5 minutes.

Now, it seems like there is an alterior motive behind picking so many who haven't played first team for about 9 months. Anyways, I hope a lot of these lads take their chance but we all know regardless of the result he'll revert to his usual 17 for the game after

I hope there is a typing error on the website and they've confused Spiers somehow with James who should be on the bench? Also I think Kay at 6 for his season debut against Wigan is crazy. Wood at 6 & Wildie at 7 should be the right half back combination.



Hope its another repeat of the Warrington match. Come on dreadnoughts prove everyone wrong!

Limited options here it would have been nice to have a few more to chose from and productive to rest a few. On a positive note we will at least be able to see Ellis and if Wildie and co have developed.

3 of Wildie/Cowling/Kay/Walshaw/Spiers/Trout should have played last night with Ellis you do not throw all the kids into a game like Wigan away
I assume James is injured because Spiers is not ready for SL
