Huddersfield played a lot better last night than last week and Luke George didnt play last week either...

Hudds were woeful for the first part of the game and could have scored plenty more, at least we made them work a little for their victory, I honestly believe we are getting there it will just take a little time.

Is that because we played better than cas against them or are you saying Hudds had an off game against us. After all the ramblings on here after last weeks defeat I was fairly happy I dont think were a poor team just not getting the timing yet it will come though

To me Danny Brough went easy on us last week. He still loves Wakefield. If Danny turned it on they would have hammered us last week.

If you say so. Funny how whenever a side doesn't smash wakey they played crap isn't it? Double the amount of ptb in your 20 than you had in wakeys shows me that wildcats did well but couldn't get over the line but did exploit a right hand weakness for 3 tries. The same side a woeful cas scored down. If the john try had been awarded to mske it 20-24 wakey would have had a great chance to win. They had you on the ropes and decisions like that do swing games because on the next 2 sets you scored giving a 12 point turn around. As I said you played as well as they let you.

what a load of rubbish. he still loves cas then but still turned it on against them. he has stated he didn't want to leave cas . don't think he said the same about us. not officially anyway.

With respect, that's nonsense; we may not have converted our field positions and chances into points, but our defence was what stopped you playing better.

We played way better than Cas, hence the disparity between the two results.

Sorry but that is also a load of rubbish. Brough said that in an interview right after the NL1 grand final against widnes when emotions were running high. A couple of days later he couldn't have cared less about cas. Trust me on this where rugby is concerned the only thing he is bothered about is Danny Brough.

Isn't this now the case with all decent players? Look at lads like Brough, Murphy, Shenton, Myler, Eden and Westerman for example. All of them just following the money with no loyalty whatsoever to any club. The only players who get any long term service are those that are paid to do so. Briers, Sinfield, OLoughlin etc are fortunate to have played for successful clubs and been paid well for their loyalty. It's tough enough for struggling S.L. clubs but imagine how bad it is for Championship clubs like Fev who can't even dream about hanging on to the likes of Kirmond, Hardaker and Whiting.

I find it really strange that some think a player would go easy on a team he played for before.
They would never make it to this level if they had that attitude.

If you worked at Sainsbury and Tesco offered you more money for the same job wouldn't you go? And if you did would you tell your customers to go to your competitor because you always liked it there?

Exactly. Don't think that clubs would show any loyalty if the player wasn't delivering what it deemed to be the goods. Loyalty is a fans concept, the players have a short time to win things, earn good money and try to forge a career after their playing days. Who can blame them for looking after their families?

Absolute cods wallop, Hudds were well out of 2nd gear. You played how we allowed you to play, a bit more of a killer instinct about our attack and we would have been a lot closer.
