And you know this how? How many times have you seen Ellis play? I'm not being funny but I didn't know much about him before he joined us other than I remember him being a stand out at Barrow when I saw him on TV.

He comes with a good wrap from previous clubs but that doesn't make him the best in our team. I thought Wood did a great job when he came on creating a try, tackling well and generally annoying Widnes and justifying his selection. What makes you think Ellis would do have done any better,

I suspect Agar will use Wood or Ellis along with Aiton depending on the opposition. Ellis is a straight at em Hooker - Wood is a Hooker/HB who offers more options.

Aiton came back on for Ali I think. So he played second row/loose with Wood at hooker. If we ate starting Aiton, I'd have Wood on the bench. But if Aiton gets injured, I'd start with Ellis and Wood still on the bench. Wood is an impact player, Ellis isn't.
