Abuse of the unison scheme ? How does that work then ? I assumed tickets purchased under that scheme were legit ?

They are legit but i suspect its not aimed at most users of the scheme, just a couple who post on here.

It seems only fair - I've never seen hide nor hair of one of these legendary 'freebies' that change hands in smokey working mens clubs, but if there is a system that's being abused, the rules must be enforced more rigorously.

Surely a smokey working men's club, is in contravention of the "anti smoking" laws.
Any selling of, tickets legendary or otherwise, would be small potatoes for these lawless so and so's!!!

They are legit but apparently some are re-sold at big games for more than the face value which is indeed wrong. However I'm sure FF is having a dig at anyone who has ever used them who he has a grudge against - so that's me and Prince Buster (me again apparently) accused

it will be quite funny to see if my lad gets pulled when entering the stadium under his junior season ticket,
at 14 year old and now 6ft he does make you look twice

Glad the club are sorting this out people have being blagging their way in for free for years, saying they were a career or ex player or just simply photocopying tickets. Get the freeloaders out and let the supporters support our great club.

How does an under 16 prove his/hers age, they have no obligation to carry ID with them and the only legal document proving ones age at Under 16 years old is a passport and at 50 quid a throw I doubt I'll llet my lad take his to the games or your birthcertificate

Many kids use a young persons bus pass. They cost a few quid and can be applied for using a passport or birth certificate at the bus station. You would need a passport photo.

My kids have used them in order to claim the child rates on bus journeys, but they come in use for other things - like the cinema - as proof of age.

Are people actually moaning about this??

In 1947 my mate manned one of the turnstiles and I would go down to Belle Vue early and he would let me crawl under the turnstiles
