Hope we've got a damn good replacement lined up then if thats the case. Would have been very tempted to keep to be honest, would have gone very well in a better team next year and is a very good leader.

Agree.
It maybe due to the wage he is on and the club needing that for other signings, or being cynical it could be like someone has suggested in the past, the outgoing wages saved balance up pretty well with the money spent on new signings.
One things for sure, I personally think we need more than 4/5 players to be near to competing for the eight based on some of the ones that are going and the fact that the likes of Salford and Harlequins are improving their squads. |

Maybe but it can't have been easy carrying the team all year. I think with the workload shared a little more he would have been worth another year. Guess we'll see cos i'm sure somebody will snap him up. |

You see that's the ongoing problem it seems with our club-sign some good
players and then commence dismantling the quality we already have her.
Luke George is maturing into a fine player, to me he has ability to become
a great centre. Morrison easily had one more season at SL level, so what
do we do, let them go. If their heart's not here that's different, but
players say anything if they aren't offered a contract. GM has been
pretty positive about wanting to stay at Wakefield up to now!

Couple of tweets from matty Wildie & Tommy Lee saying they want a big finish tomorrow for the fans and players that are leaving. Be nice if the club would actually tell us exactly who is going so we can give them a good send off rather than just guessing.

Deffo would be good for another season and has puts massive amounts of work in each game.
Dont know about coaching possibilities which will depend on our new head poncho, but a real shame if he goes.

I'm more than happy with the current broom sweeping out some of the staff new broom new dawn we had to have what weve had this season but not from now on. Spport is about competing and bettering oneself. I believe we are heading to the next stage.

I'm not sure I like some of the comments in that article, but I guess that's a players version of sending out their CV.
I would have been ok with him staying for one more season, but if it's not to be, it's not to be; he will leave WTW with the respect and admiration of every supporter I would think.

I recon he could have done another season, 80 minutes worth of playing time every game and worked his b---s off for the team when others sat back for an easy ride. Give him another year you know it makes sense.
