The Cowboys are my NRL team and he was very good for a couple of seasons there, but not sure how he has performed in recent years..

This bloke is quality, massive workrate and hits big in defence. If he plays for us like he did the cowboys then weve signed a top quality player.

if u read the comments on the townsville bulletin on the 2 more signings today thread the cowboys fans comments at the bottom give him an absolute glowing report a tough tackling workaholic and a legend of the club who gives his all every game and doesnt take a backward step , that was only a year ago and super league is a lot less tougher than the nrl so if fit i think he will go very well for us just what we need

I've no doubt if he gets fit he will be a fantastic signing.. A workhorse who's going to toughen the defence up a lot.. Exactly what we need in our forwards and with his nrl experience he will benefit the team.. but with only 6 nrl games under his belt this year, I just wonder what condition he's in following the operation he's had.

He has played 6 games for the knights this year so it would suggest he is over the op atleast.

He can also play loose i think. If he hits hard in defence then we have made a good signing here.

Really hoping that we sign a quality SO and then we will look in good shape. Still like the look of leon PRYCE at SO for us but unlikely.

Couple of injuries under the belt and an ambition for the year to stay injury free - hopefully he will do. Suppose you dont play this many 1st grade NRL games without having something about you and he's under 30 too, and as long as he stays fit he most probably will be an improvement on the imports we already have

He is a very good defender, he's just the type of player that Elston said they wanted to sign at the recent Trust meeting.

That is how i remember Southern to be. A tough as nails worker.
