Sadly we're no longer in the mix this season (there's always next year), but there are some cracking games this weekend.

Hull Fc vs Leeds
Saints vs Hull KR
Cas vs Shudds
Wigan vs Warrington

All of these matches are tough to predict and although it may not be popular on here i'm going for Hull FC, Saints, Cas and Wigan to progress.
A couple of weeks ago Shudds looked nailed on to win, but now I dont think so.
Lets hope the games live up to expectation, especially Wigan vs Warrington which should be the dogs whatsits.

Think the Wigan v Wire game could be the first of a few real wars between the clubs in the coming seasons.

I think there will be lots of bad blood as the 2 teams are really becoming bitter rivals, Wire are playing better than Wigan for mine despite the odd blip but Wigan do not seem to have hit the straps fully yet. Could have the makings of a classic and I cant call it, although given individual performances of the teams this year Wire have played better so I would just put them as favourites, especially when they are the champions.

Should be a belter.

In the other games cant see beyond Leeds, Hudds and Saints, I expect a reaction from Hudds and cannot see Cas living with them.

We would still be in the mix if we had not given Jeffries away.

By the look of these prices the bookies think Warrington are going to beat Wigan !!

Home advantage is probably the only difference re: Warrington.

Cas v Huddersfield. Huddersfiield sneaked it last time at their place, IIRC, although they were clearly the better team. If Broughy's playing, I'll go for Huddersfield. They'd be my preferred winner of those that are left anyway, although I could be persuaded to go for Hull KR.

Hudds won easily at Shay ( remember the 'kit' ) but Cas won 18-12 at WR at beginning of season ( was 18-6 but Hudds scored with last play of match just as hooter went ) This weekends game should be a cracker and a chance to forget SL , for at least a few days . Hard to call but bookies have Hudds small favs ( about a 6 pt start for Cas )

I meant the last time you played them in the CC. Wasn't that at Huddersfield? You were winning till late on, and they kept bombing chances... at least that's how I remember it.

It's my pick of the games, anyway. No offence, but I'm for the other team.
