Bet you didn't laugh in 2006! Everybody on here wanted Kear to get fredom of the City and if you deny being one then your a liar because no one said otherwise then.

Not having a go at you especially but I'm sick of seeing Wakey fans turn on people who have given their best.

So whatever has gone wrong Kear is still the man who saved us and deserves some respect. There are two Coaches I feel I owe real gratitude to, one is Andy Kelly for getting us in SL and Kear for keeping us there. I for one don't turn on my friends when the going gets tough, especially not for cheap laughs.

I've wanted him out since 15th Feb 2008 though.

he was my choice back in 2006 to help save us from the drop and we have had a couple of good years true and I'm truly grateful for it

but lets get this right, to stand there and say he will walk with us into the new stadium but then want to move to the Catalans only for Ted to want compensation then apply for the Bradford Job shows his loyalty

and to top it all off by his latest announcement two weeks before the RFL give out the franchise deals just sucks he has turned on us to do that

Couldn't agree more. Think his time is up at the end of the season whatever happens but you cannot ignore the and belittle the job he did in keeping us up. Had we gone down that year then the situation we face now would have been nothing to where we would probably have been by now. He then gave us play off rugby as well so all in all not a total waster with no ideas.

Always been a fan of Kear and am forever grateful for 'the great escape'. I think he has been a bit hard done to by the previous regime and I don't think he would be in this position had AG taken over a couple of years previous. Losing Brough, Tronc (probably old regime related looking at it now), Obst, Millard, Ferguson et al didn't help his cause whatsoever and he has had to do the best with what he's had. I do however believe that a more creative coach could get more out of the current youngsters and get them playing more open rugby. As to who that coach is, my guess is as good as yours!

Agree with a lot of that and I would add that it would be a shame if Kear does end up leaving on bad terms after what he has done for us in the past. All this moaning about him looking for other work is delusional imo, even if he isn't necessarily getting the best out of the players at the present time. I will judge his tenure over the entire period and we have had some terrific highs. He may have lost his way a bit but this happens to most coaches

My first thoughts, deserting a sinking ship springs to mind though.

His timing re cas job could not have been worse.
