What a disgrace that Broadbent was today towards the fans, just because one fan complained about the performance and how shocking it has been for weeks. He just snapped and turned around to all the fans behind including myself and told us all to stop complaining and being so negative and to save our money and to f**k off. Like we all said he shouldn't say something like that as a member of staff and why shouldn't we be able to complain after we pay his and the players wages.

Hope AG speaks to him and he is made to apologise to the 'innocent' fans he directed his remarks to. The fans do indirectly pay their wages.

Saw the commotion from afar but didn't know what caused it or what was said. If what he has said what's been reported on here then he should be ashamed of himself.

Hi, i don't often post on here but i was genuinely disappointed at the whole PB thing (the game, as much as it was a shocker, i do love the fact that us Wakefield fans can still find humour in adverse times!) As BigAl states (on the other page) it was the big bald guy that was throwing abuse towards the dugout and generally about the team, but the thing that rattled a few cages for the fans who heard it was the fact that Beans did not direct his frustration towards the one fan inparticular, he used the choice of words "All you lot..." before his outburst. I looked at my friend in shock thinking "We've said jack s**t and we're getting abuse from our assistant coach!" Even my mate looked at me and asked "What have we done? I'm not going to get into the whole argument of if Kear & Co should go, let's be honest there has been plenty of discussion on here about the pro's and con's, and i'm a great believer in there is no black and white areas, everything is grey (sounds like a mundane world that i live in!) It could have been a bad choice a phrasing from PB to be fair, heat of the moment and all that, but my thoughts simply by the end of the game were, concentrate on getting our team to perform and up to scratch, don't try picking petty slanging matches with disgruntled fans who do technically pay his wages (even though he denied this in his rant), so do have a right to voice their opinions about the product we are seeing...

No defence for Broadbent on this one turning on a whole group of fans is not the brightest move and certainly not at this point with the way things are going on the field. Lets hope there is an apology coming pretty quickly.

I have to say JK was in the next box to us today, not his usual one, and his language leaves a lot to be desired especially since we had a 12 year old with us.

Exactly Broadbents language was not acceptable especially when he was having a go at the fans that had said nothing.

The public broadcast says that: "Rugby League is a family game, foul and abusive language will not be tolorated"

Paul Broadbent was completly out of order today. He is a paid professional and when times are tough the paying fans have every right to vent their feelings within reason. What the gentleman said was within reason and what Mr Broadbent followed up with was completly discusting.

This game works hard to remove bad language from the terraces and promotes itself as a "family game" and we are a "family club"! I was stood just behind Mr Broadbent and saw and heard everything he said with young children around. I am just glad i had not taken my young son who at the age of two repeats every word he hears!

Shame on you Mr Broadbent, a full public apology is required!

Im not sure Mr Glover would have approved when Mr Broadbent told a fan "Dont effin come then", in response to the fan who said he pays his money and has the right to vent his anger!

dont be so touchy mate, i think we all know hes coments were directed at the big mouthed balled bloke and hes mates who usally slag everyone off even the kit man not saying i agree with bad laungue but i can see him sicking up for the boys , dont know what the big deal is? , the guy is only human he knows the boys are doing it tough at the moment i must admit i feel the same as him , i'd rather those that suport the team turned up and the ones that want to slag the team off stay at home and save thier brass if they carnt stand the heat stay out of the kitchin...

The bloke who i thought it was aimed at (bald bloke) he's been home and away for as long time, many many years, don't speak to him but always thought he was a ok, anyway i don't have any idea what provoked the abuse from PB so i'm keeping out of it.

Its a tough time and we all want our views heard but if people just go to maon and have a go they may as well not bother.

Its all rather sad.
