Rinaldi, Morrison & Mariano for me, although King ran in well, George looked solid and Blaymire played well in difficult catching conditions.
As a team we competed for most of the game, against a side maxing out it's salary cap, and a thousand more spectators came to watch, in the wonderful outdoor BV conditions, ideal for summer rugby.

I'd go for King personally. He led us exceptionally well in the forwards, and he made a heck of alot of metres on every one of his runs. Top effort Kingy!

I think they all played well today. Blaymire was excellent in what were very difficult conditions for a fullback with the strong wind. I also thought Hyde was good again but i think the choice of Rinaldi was correct because the game changed in our favour when he was reintroduced towards the end.

Higgins adds size aswell and kept his legs going when tackled...

I thought all the forwards showed up really well - Amor had a cracking first half, Higgins made good yards and Kingy was a real handful.

I'd give it to Morro though - another superb performance.

Thought they all played really well and kept their nerve(thought when we went behind that would be it)but it was the likes of Vella who lost their composure.Think apart from missing the goal kicks Griffin had a good game and drove the ball in at every opportunity,also thought the tackle from Blaymire in first half on Cockayne(i think)which dislodged the ball and stopped a certain try was awesome.

Blaymire and George had their best games of the season but I think Rinaldi made the most difference when he came back on towards the end.

Whilst its probably not fair to single out anyone today I think the difference that Rinaldi makes to us when he's on the pitch is massive. He deserved the award.

Thought King and Higgins were awesome today!!!! And Julian Rinaldiiiiiiiiooooooooooo was immence ! We still need a creative halfback and that is the last piece of our jigsaw for this season. Well done team !

Matt Blaymire solid in defence and the way he stopped Cockayne in the first half was brilliant.

Rinaldi just edged the Man of the Match for me, we certainly had more direction when he was on. Thought Mariano was awesome today, he tackled everything that moved. And Luke George had a blinder, make some big yards and some even bigger hits. Can't see Tadulala getting a game on todays performance.

That tackle was spectacular.

Stopped an absolutely certain try - four HKR men inside all just waiting to get the ball and stroll in. It was just in front of where I was stood and I had already mentally conceded the try and even said as much. How Blaymire managed that I don't know. His safety under the high ball meant that they couldn't use it as effectively as we could as there seamt to be no chance he would drop it so they almost gave up that idea. So strong contender for man of the match. Did Rinaldi just pip him for it....maybe yes. It was the extra zip he gave to the team and the problems he caused from acting half so he gets it just by a wisker but I hope this puts paid to all the Blaymire bashing, which I've never really understood. Oh and one more thing for Rinaldi - the way he came over and shook the hands of the kids at the end of the game and stood with them for a photo, he was really happy and made the kids happy as well. Top bloke.

I saw that too. He seems a genuinely nice guy, who was just as happy with the win as the fans were.

Blaymire was excellent today, never more so than when he smashed the idiot that KR have playing full back. Had Cockayne scored at that point it might have been a different game.
