According to the folks on the Leeds forum, work starts on the South Stand at Headingley at the end of the season, which means that the Leeds-Wakefield will be taken to Elland Road.

What's everyone's thoughts? If its true I reckon this could be a great day out.

Absolutely agree, in a civilised world how can you possibly stick away fans on an uncovered concrete terracing and still expect people to view your stadium as modern and up to standard.

I know who would do such a thing?

At least at Belle Vue away fans can't complain that they get wet whilst home fans stay dry.

Agree dont like Elland Road at all...

I would rather stand and get wet at Headingley then sit cramped for 80
minutes in Elland Road

End of season?. That means we would still need to be in Superdooper league next year for a game at elland road.

It is the last game of the regular season... it is on the fixture list!

They are planning (but it might change) to knock the South Stand down after the Cas home game in August and play the last regular season game against Wakey, probably, at Elland Road.

The problem is Clan is that the Western Terrance (or building a new one with a roof) has more planning issue that Newmarket! They will do this last (post 2015) once the North Stand has been replaced (possibly!).
