Don't think it has been mentioned on here yet? but Mathew Wildie was on the bench on friday and didnt play, so we played the whole 80 mins with 16 players very rare in the modern game... which makes the victory just a bit more remarkable..

Deffo played as the announcer called him Mathew Wild both when he came on and when he gave the teams out before kick off.

yep he deffo played and did very well inmho, announcer called him matt wild for some reason!!! think young wildie going to be a good player for us

He deffo played, came on just after half time for Rinaldi and went off with about 10 left. He did well in attack and was very solid in defense.

I think that ultimately he will end up a half back but he is doing a very good job at hooker at the moment.

Also on that website link, it says that we only made three subs, i was at the game and he deffo come on, and was very good in both attack and defence.

Wildie is all over the highlights, so looks like he was on the pitch when alot of the action was about.

I noticed it said 'not used' on the BBC website but they never stopped mentioning his name on the radio commentary while he was on. Sounded like he got himself involved.

I'm bit confused as to how to pronounce his name though. They said 'Will-dy'; I thought it was 'Wild-y'. How does he pronounce it?
