What do we know about this guy ?

Warrington website seems to suggest he's played well in the off season but not much else. Has he been loaned out to anyone in the championship for experience or has he spent all his playing time at the HJ in the U20's ?

lets hope he plays well takes his chance and signs,lets see what he as to offer first...

He spent a month (maybe two) at Swinton last season. Bit of an old school stand-off, not particularly pacy, excellent passer and goal kicker.

Nope - we beat Leeds at BV on the following Weds - with Wrighty kicking the winning drop goal!

I missed both games... and the Leeds game was our first league win of the season...

I flew back into gatwick on the following saturday morning and went straight to Wembley for the world cup final between GB and Australia. I saw the Leeds result in a discarded copy of the Sun newspaper outside Kings Cross station.

I had both the yorkshire cup final and the Leeds game on video; but no longer have a video player!!

I have both a Video player and a DVD recorder! The YC final is already on DVD, but that Leeds game would be a belter!

You're certainly on a roll. Just because Toppo was around for a 1000 years doesn't mean you can invoke his name to denigrate another player. The sad story regarding Wrights injury ravaged career is well known where as Toppo was pretty much iindestructible (even in a car) so the comparison is unfair.

What is fair is to say that as a 18-19 year old Wright most certainly was world class for that point in his career. Would he have gone onto match Toppo if he had steered clear of injury. I don't know and neither do you so why knock him.
