I shall start by saying that first and foremost I would like to see the marketing dept promote the new era by encouraging the stay away fans back to Belle Vue for our last season.
I know plenty that was dissollusioned with the Richardson regime!! How do we encourage them? Can we offer cut price tickets to create a great atmosphere and swell our attendances.
Will the RFL be able to ignore a team which averages 8,000 or more. Is this acheivable under the new management, I sincerely hope so Im not giving up on our next franchise lets make it difficult for them.

I think I will be happy just to finish the season

all kids under 16 for nothing, bombard wakefield city centre with promotions, offer 2 for 1 tickets. or the scrum6 like wigan do for about 50 quid. we have got to get the future watching now.

Marketing the club Mopsey it'll never work, surely if it did Ted would have done it!!!

We need a massive promotion for our first home game V Salford, get the crowds in and make people sit up and take notice that we're alive and kicking. Like Mop said free tickets for kids, half pricve entry for adults who accompany a season ticket holder (we need to see a few more season tickets admittedly for this to work) Buy one ticket get another half price offers with a voucher in Wakey Express etc etc

an absolute must IMO, especially kids in free get the ground filled, should have massive effort and send leaflets to the whole district about the new beginnings etc and promo's, it dont cost that much either as i've done it myself via Royal mail

we must fill the ground imo, even if we let kids in for nothing, lets get this club back and in with a chance.

I'd settle for just the license

Some kind of big promotion for the Salford game is an absolute must.

In terms of the ambitions for the season:
1) To compete in every game - realistically we probably won't win many, but to at least have a go and not get disheartened is what we're all after.
2) To get some experienced players in ASAP to help lead the young lads.
3) To make the RFL's job in getting rid of us as hard as we possibly can.

Hopefully the marketing strategy should be stronger in the future, there must be people already working with AG who have expertise in this area.

agree but we should all now be responsible for marketing our club to the public of Wakefield

1 - We should be glad and thankful we are still a SL club!

2 - Thankful that we can still potentially see out a full SL season.

3 - Completing a full SL season.

4 - Potentially securing a final season in SL?

5 - Been able to have the chance to play & fight for a SL franchise... thank you Mr G you have given us this...

Anything else surely must be a bonus....???

in most peoples eyes wakey or maybe cas are the team who will be relegated/ de franchised etc..i would like to see come june? wakey and cas in the top 5( below hudds though lol) just to listen to the excuse the rfl/super league give in dropping one of the heartland clubs who are doing well on the field. if you are bottom it will be easier for them, if you are going well it will be much harder

Your ONE target as a club should be to not finsih bottom. that way you make the RFL,s job harder. If you dont finish bottom but still lose your licence this board will be able to survive on conspiracy theories against the RFL until you get back into SL.

After that you need to settle for getting behind the club, building some solidarity with the new owners and preparing for next season wherever that will be.

Anything beyond that will be unrealistic IMHO.

one target to be the first to get a entire team of british players on the pitch for a superleague match surely we can achieve that.

I suppose if we started with a bench of Morrison, Jeffries, Korkidas and Hendo then the 13 out on the field would be all Brits.
