How come when crusaders went into administration Ohara and Co did not sell any of their players before the new owners came in ? Or did the £700,000 loan help

For the 500th time:

1. O'Hara was not the administrator for Crusaders.
2. Weller Hauraki was sold to Leeds.
3. The club did not require 'new owners'. They went into administration for a totally different reason to Wakefield.

Sorry but you better tell O'Hara's on point 1 cos they have it on their website that they sold Crusaders.

What were the reasons for going into administration? Surely the only reason you do go in is because you can't afford to pay the bills.

Why are we bothering about cru anyway. What's been done has been done there's nothing anyone can do about it now. Might as well accept it that they're here for the long haul or until they go pop again. Is it fair probably not but neither is life. That's a strange statement that seems to contradict itself. Roberts and Moss were the owners throughout last year, they were the ones who took the club to Wrexham.

Either way, Hauraki was sold to Leeds so the OP's point is invalid.

The North Wales based owners put the club into administration for a brief period to help manage the debts that were mostly accumulated by the people who owned the club when it was based in South Wales (and shambolically run). Once the debts were cleared, the same people took the club out of administration. It was a measure to allow the club to clear a lot of long-standing inherited debts and effectively allow them to start with a clean slate. They weren't looking for a new buyer or someone to 'save' the club, they just needed some help paying off a lot of debts.

I'm not a Crusaders fan FWIW and certainly not someone looking to 'stick the knife in'.

I've only followed this great game because of Crusaders and whilst it may sound hypocritical I hope you make it through stronger on the other side, I've enjoyed my trips to Wakey and found the fans to be some of the best, in all sincerity best of luck.

Cleared!!!! You mean written off. And that is the reason people are PI$$ed off on here, you owed 3 times what we are believed to owe, yet our squad is being sold off left right and centre.

The Crusaders had the Racecourse ground as colateral. You have no assets other than the players. The Crusaders still owe some money but the owner is repaying that debt. They didn't have all their debts written off, which is why they received a four point deduction rather than six. But it is the ground that is the difference: if your ground hadn't been sold there would have been a big asset there.

But it's a real shame this is happening to Wakey and I feel for the fans. I do hope Andrew Glover hasn't backed off and that things will come good very soon.

I know that Moss and Roberts are selling the football club but I can state with total certainty that the club was run better at Wrexham last year than at any point I have witnessed previously.

For around half a season in South Wales there was no merchandise to buy at all. If that is not shambolic for a Super League club then I'm not sure what is. The stability off the field helped, I am sure, to progression on it. The thing that winds me up more than anything is that it is this rubbish attempt at Super League which now means people will instantly rubbish any talk of it coming back to South Wales. A South Wales club could survive if run properly but we'll not know until people realise how bad the job was last time and the fact we finished bottom with a handful of wins over the entire year.

For what it is worth I wish Wakfield all the luck in the world in staying in the league. A lot may blame us for part of it but the game needs to expand or die. Good luck and hope you pull through as it is always the fans that suffer and yours are some of the best.
