Will they come back to the club if/when we get new owners, will those holding out on season tickets renew them and show support for the club or is it just Pub/forum talk.


I know some on here have said they won't and have friends who won't back the present set up, how sure can we be they'll come back on board.

I suppose what i'm saying is can we get the feel good factor back into RL in Wakey.

Yeah well its up to us all to make sure they do. Put pressure on by writing such in Express etc. As sonn as we know what is happening that is my plan/ All those who said they would do X when Ted gone then its time to do so

I have been talking to some fans on facebook and I've told them to keep the faith, and they are ready to back the new owner/owners as soon as the take over bid as happened...

Will come back but only if ALL the Richardson Maskills Rodgerson clan have gone
If not I will watch another team without the same passion

Well I have said that I won't buy anything from the club until the regime change.

Now it is getting sorted, I will buy a membership (not sure which one yet), replica shirt, and possibly some other things from the club shop.

I know of others who will get re-engaged with the club now things are happening.

In a rush of blood to the head last year, I bought ST's for me and the kids; I've held off on shirts however and won't be buying anything from the shop until all Richardsons are out of the picture.

There needs to be a clear statement of intent from the new owner as soon as possible.
Many fans need to be reasured that Ted et al are all long gone before they will come back.
The sooner the better, then we have a good run until the first home game to get all the drifted and disheartened back in the fold.
The club, the players and the supporters have gone through the mill, lets pack BV this season win, lose or draw!!
Lets all give ourselves something to be proud of and give the old girl a well deserved send off!!
And while we're at it lets show the idiots at the RFL what their going to have to go without if they chose to give us the bullet.

Apparently Ted and Diane have left the building, I'm not sure about Clan though.

Got me season ticket, have money to spend in shop as soon as we know that the old clan have gone. Need a new shirt and some training gear so lets have a clear out of the old clan.

You know, I am lucky enough to get tickets to all home games, as my organisation sponsors the club, but even so, I am now sorely tempted to buy a season ticket!!

Good lets get them on board, we need to support 1873.

Will be interesting now to see how many people who stayed away from the club now stay true to there words and come back, when I mean come back I mean tickets, memberships, sponsorship, shop sales etc..

We all need to get behind the club, turn up (as above) and more importantly get as many people as we know to get involved.

i feel like an egyptian this morning years of tyranny as been overthrown and its time to move on for the better of the people and the club, im sure theres so many fans who have stayed away over the years with how the club has been run NOW is the time for you all to get yourself to home games support the team and show the new owners your love for this club, better gates, more merchandise more ground sales can only lead to better times and make mr glover and his team realise he has bought a club of the people and we can strengthen the team on the field through our support so if youve stayed away I URGE you get down to belle vue this season it might not always be pretty but these players and the new management team need our support we have hit rock bottom NOW is the time to bounce back and we all can help.

I never realised living in Stanley was that bad!!!

Thats why i posted this, not having a dig at the guy's on here because i've not doubt they'll be back in, its the pub fans.

Not sure what the club can do to drag people out of the pub when it's on tv.

Personally I don't think you can beat being at the match.

One thing that gives me hope is the nature of the new owner's background. From a quick skim of his business interests on the interweb, I get the impression he is astute regarding marketing and the like. I don't believe Ted and co were blissfully unaware over this, but even when we did go from complete short-term to longer-term development with the academy & community set up, the funding and capacity never really seemed to be there to tap into whatever potential market exists in the area.

Hopefully, the combination of a new broom and the experience of selling in a competitive market that seems to have grown on the back of a fairly innovative approach to spreading their name should mean the new BoD are better able to put inplace what is needed. He also seems to have more integrity than one would expect from many double glazing sellers, if that counts for something.

Is that supposed to be a compliment ????
