I think if it is anything to do with us, it will just be us preparing the RFL for next weeks inevitable call to the administrators.
If we are supposed to be in the high court on the Wednesday 2nd, it's my bet that we will be on the blower some time Monday!

My money is on

1 -Administrators being appointed on Monday.
2 - A "pre-pack" administration within 24 hours or so, with one of the interested parties' new company taking over the assets (and the players and relevant staff under the TUPE rules) at what the Administrator will say was the best price obtainable, given the severe time frame to allow the club to start the new SL season, without starting which the club is worthless
3 - The RFL immediately admitting Wakefield Trinity 2011 Ltd (or whatever the new company gets called) to SL by assigning the Licence to it from the old company. And the RFL will say it was not prepared to allows a club in Administration to play in SL, hence the Administrator "had no choice" but to move so quickly.

The fact that you seem to have had interested parties conducting due dilligence suggests to me the process is well advanced. And I can;t see anyone wanting to take over the existing company, and pay off its debts and also assume any unrecorded or contingent liabilities and any other historical baggage. If time is of the essence, can't see there being time to convene the necessary creditors' meetings and put proposals to them.

That is my prognosis, but I may well be miles out!

Presumably if we go into admin on Monday the board will all resign?

The club were definately meeting the RFL today but I believe it was to let the powers that be know the plan for the coming days. You can draw your own conclusions what that means.

I think you're almost spot on wit that description, the only things missing are the fine details of which investor (one hand picked by Ted and who has sympathy for his and his family's position). It won't necessarily be the one we want or the one that's best for Wakefield Trinity!

TUPE regulations will be quoted as the reason certain employees of the club have retained their authority and employ.

Some positive news will be bellowed from the rooftops in the hope that the sense of releif and positivity will mask the fact that those responsible for our embarrassment are still in charge.

I don't know anything for certain but that's my best guess.

All this "he's a supporter just like the rest of us crap he spouts, would be proven to be just that, crap. If he was a genuine supporter then he would step aside graciously and accept that he and his family no longer represent the best future for Wakey.

Also he wouldn't be able to remain as Chairman anyway would he given his IVA?

I think anyone attending tomorrows game needs to make it clear (banners whatever) that we do not want him and his daughter at the club anymore.

Finally, I would add that if we didnt get Parkin and Ferres but some Ted sympathiser and he and his family were still in positions of power, that would typify our luck, so close to an apparent bright future only to have the rug pulled at the last minute.

if all the richardson family did not go it would show stubboness beyond belief. a clean slate is needed and remember he has 2 daughters. tricky i think the best way is to protest if any stay, every week till they go. not ideal for new owners but lets rid this club of the chains once and for all.

I never thought i would hear myself saying this but i hope we do go into administration which i hope mean we have seen the last of the Richardson clan. Then hopefully the rumours about Ferres and Parkin are true and they can lead us into a bright new future.

Couldn't agree more, I won't be going anywhere near the club until him and his family have gone. I'm not the only one, I know of a few regulars who are of that opinion. The Richardsons are an embarrassment to the club it's time to go!
