Very true. Not sure how Garen Casey gets a mention I know he had a big impact in our promotion season but I would have thought we were looking for a bit more than that for a Belle Vue Great.

My money is on Mopsey voting for Blaymire at full back!

Matt Fuller IMO is far more worthy of a mention from that side, the job he did on Stanley Gene in the Semi at BV IMO won us the game and sent us to the final. May only have been 1 game but that would get him in for me.

He'd get in for me for getting sent off after about a minute against Widnes away that year!

Seem to remember the Wakey fans been threatend over the tannoy about standing up, then the club photographer came along and asked us all to stand up, not sure if thats the same game but defo at Widnes.

...hey other than the Broughy 7 , you could be me ! I could put others in for Broughy mainly due to his spoilt child syndrome and that yes nhe won us matches but not as many as he could have done if he had bothered every game

Lampy was a machine and would be very well suited to today's game. Top fella as well and always had time for the young juniors when at training.

More than half decent side that one - don't think anyone could argue much with that. Shall have to dig out the old history books and put together a team...there was an 'All Time' team put together in the late 80s/early 90s in the programmes consisting of mainly players from the great team of the 60s. Can any players since that team was put together really get in a new one?

Would have been interesting to see a panel of ex-players, journalists, historians put together their team to compare with that of the supporters.

I would like to name my team but i have only been watching Trin since 2000 and i feel that it is unfair to comment on players who i have never seen play and i would feel uncomfortable putting players like Blaymire in the team who has been the best fullback at the club since i have been watching but is not even in the same league as some as some the players we have had in the past. This means that i won't be submitting a team.

I have picked this team based on playing ability alone and also the fact that i have seen them play. This means that players like Tronc, despite the fact he got homesick, he was the best prop i have seen in my time supporting Trin.

As was said before everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I liked the look of Tronc first few games but the way he disgraced our number 8 shirt IMO means he should not get anywhere near. Adam would wear that shirt for me without any doubt.
