| Whilst prizes like this are a good idea, it should be in conjunction with a larger prize for which all Gold Membership are entered into. If this could be sponsored by, as last season, by Eric France (or similar) and had a cash prize of say £1k than it would appease gold members who feel they miss out on promotions and also may encourage further take up of Gold Memberships.

Asked about this at club shop on Sunday, you have to fill out a direct debit at the club.

What's made it worse is that today I received this message via an email from the marketing team
"just sign up to any one of our membership schemes and be in with a chance to win this great Wildcats prize".

Not that difficult if you know the first thing about marketing and plan your strategy properly in advance.
This is a daft idea. A prize draw for all those who take up the offer would be much more fair and far less devisive.

Indeed; it was a rhetorical question!
What I don't get though is why someone at the club isn't having words with whoever comes up with these daft ideas; it keeps happening mind, which gives the impression that the expertise simply isn't there.

| It does seem like a bit of an own goal, for two reasons.
1. It does seem that the most loyal are the most penalised with all of our different intiatives. This would have been a good idea if it had been announced at the same time as the membership.
2. It doesn't exactly show huge ambition. "100th member"? I would have hoped we had set our sights a bit higher than that.
I got an email inviting me to sign up to the loyalty early bird offer on the basis that I am a 2010 season ticket holder. Except that I'm not. My last season ticket was 2007.

Whereas I am a 2010 season ticket holder and despite signing up for the 'newsletter' half a dozen times, never receive a single email.

One step forward, always two steps back. Like the website, get a really clearly designed one, then fill it with news stories that haven't been proofread for obvious spelling/grammatical errors.
