How long will the board continue to let Kear lead us to embarassingly shocking poor performances,before they cut their losses and get rid.

Kear has lost all credibility and is now losing his integrity.
He has shown his hand when wanting to leave the club for Catalans,is now just taking the pi$$ out of the board and the paying spectators.

Forget all the comments,like "who could do a better job" and "its not his fault we lost this player and that player"

The buck stops with him and the performances HIS team are turning out are pathetic.

This season his coaching methods have been time and time again been shown up for been woefully out of date,some of his team selections have been mind bogglingly stupid and our lack of desire and motivation is clear for all to see.

Not a knee jerk reaction, ive been calling for his head since April.

The sad thing is, he is killing any dwindling enthusiasm i have for my club.


He is robbing his salary from the club,in many other work environments he would have been sacked for consistently under performing.

Agree, I've defended him and said who could do better but now I'm asking "who could do worse".

I think one problem is the fact that we can't afford to sack him and also i am not sure who would want to come in and coach a club who dont know what league they will be playing in after next season.

If we had let him go to Catalans, sacking him would not be an issue.

agree it is now beyond a joke he is still here,he sounded happy with todays performence and after conceding 10 tries he is happy with our scrambling defence

Haven't said much up to this point but after listening to JK on the radio afterwards all he could do was praise Huddersfield and say we had improved.

Agree enough is now enough,I've always supported Kear but it isn't going to change,the players have lost all confidence in him and are obviously not playing for him.The team of players we've got should not be getting beat in the way they are and should not be playing the quality of rugby on offer.Next season we need a clear out of some faces and some fresh blood brought in both players and coaching staff alike.Will Kear do the decent thing and resign or his he in that much of denial.

Catalan should be paying us, they've certainly got away lucky this time!

I agree the season has gone pear shaped and I can't wait for it to finish to be honest. A total lack of flair since the sale of Brough has led to dour and boring games that are sending fans away in their droves.

I believe,however,the issues lie at a level above John Kear. This season has been all about cutting costs with all available funds being channeled towards the Newmarket project.Worryingly I can only see that getting worse next year!!

Estimated attendance for wire game is probably going to be 5 000, with 3000 wire fans..sadly.

The season has been over for a while they have all given up.

He is either waiting to start again next year or hoping for the sack.

I have always defended John Kear but after the last few matches being beaten by 40 or more points either John must resign or he must be sacked because how anyone can say they were satisfied by anything from todays performance has lost the plot.

don't know where you have got that from, the players i have spoken to haven't lost confidence in him. don't really know myself what else he could do with the injuries he has got and the players he has got to work with. as a lot of you have said, throw in the young lads. all well and good but when you put them in at the deep end when we are playing badly as we did with hyde it knocks the crap out of their confidence. i don't have the answers but i do know that the players that are left that are fit will have to stick together, get their heads down and put some hard work in. we are still only 2 points off the play offs . bradford and salford are playing just as crap as us. it will do no good for a coach to walk away now. he needs to stick with the team and show strong leadership and see the job through.

I guarantee one thing, you'll never hear or read any criticism of Kear in the papers or on telly/radio. He's the Harry Redknapp of rugby league, always there for a quote or a story to fill pages or time.

Show me a player who is 'hurting' and I see one who'll be 'hurting' for whichever team is foolish enough to pay them. Too many triers, not enough skill. If the kids lose confidence from one game at the top level, they'll never have the guts to keep knuckling down and improve.

Any coach that can make the comments on the radio like Kear did,after ANOTHER shambolic and pathetic performance,as seriously lost the plot.

The problem is i cant really see anybody else wanting him in Super League for next year,so it looks like we will be stuck with him.
