Sounds like it's same old problems. We can't defend our own 20, a couple of tries go in and the heads go down. We were beaten before we started. I'm not sure wheather it's JK or the players but either way there needs to be major changes

It sounds like the Hudds players are actually embaressed to be running the tries in. Almost as awkward as Mcguire sounds having to find anything to say other than "Wakey are sh*te", he's doing his best to remain positive.

Its so bad the sky score centre can't update the scores in time. Hudds scored twice before one was actually chalked up.

I've been a long time Kear fan and have been one of those prepared to overlook this season because "he saved us" - but . . . we aren't even improving in our losses from week to week.

The logical side of me does question what we do in the interim though if we do boot Kear out. Surely insane to fire a coach without replacement. But even more mad to keep him.

I'll be the first on here to apologise should we turn in a 37 point lazarus style second half comeback.

Quite frankly I've just about had it. I will go to the Warrington game because I've already paid but that's it. Someone said to me but its your team - well its not my team because my team plays with pride and gives their all for the shirt - this is not my team, a team with no guts, no passion who as soon as we go behind throws the towel in.

Big changes needed for next season and that has to be throughout the Club from the top to the bottom. We need new investment (I don't know from where) but we do. I think JK who I've defended to the hilt does not seem to care since we stopped his move to Catalans. Plenty of players who seem uninterested and not up to SL standard.

Never felt so brassed off what with the new Stadium (or not) and the playing standard.

In fairness, this is a match against Huddersfield. Did anyone expect any different? History tells us that we never, ever put effort in against them (2008 excepted) and they always go out of their way to beat us - I often find our vs. Hudds results very odd and even slightly suspicious considering that we often fail to impress when we play them even if we're on a good run and even if they are not.

However, the state of things right now is a clear indicator that things need to change from top to bottom at WTWRLFC.

I know exactly what you mean about "not my team" Sandal cat. Without sounding pius, it feels like as a fan I care more than players do. Its the idea that they don't represent you or the values of the club.

It also makes it difficult to justify a stadium when you're serving up this rubbish week in week out. Why on earth would anyone want to build this team a new ground. The tragedy being that theres many on these boards who's commitment, passion, and long suffering ( in some cases working for the benefit of the club for free ) does merit a new place to watch "their team".

I know I sound like a broken record but we should have let Kear go when Catalans came calling. Since he stayed it has been a rapid descent into the abyss.

Way things are going, we could finish 13th and be lucky that Catalans had such a bad start.

Thers is clearly an issue within the dressing room and whilst the players cannot be absolved from total blame, alot has got to be disruption caused by Kear and his devious attempts to get himself another job.

I don't expect the majority to agree with me, but please nobody peddle out the same excuses, tronc, brough etc... and injuries. These undoubtedly do have a destabilising effect, but thats no excuse for the pee poor rugby and lack of effort we have been seesing for far too long.

As much as Kear seems a decent bloke it appears the side have pretty much packed it in! Awful attitude to have when you obviously have fans who care more than the blokes wearing the shirt.

Agree about the "loss of the dressing room" though I do think the loss of Brough, Tronc and Newton from that dressing room in quick succession is significant.

I don't pretend to know all the Kear / Catalans details but wasn't he ready to go but the dragons refused to pay compensation ? Must be difficult to play for / listen to a coach who you know has tried to jump ship.

Having said that, we're technically winning the second half.

Crusaders still lead, Cas are coming back to probably win away. Our recent luck of other teams losing to bail us out looks to be over as well.

The only team on a par with our sub standard is also back in the game against Catalans. Even Bulls fans will have more reasons to be cheerful than us this weekend.

Shocking stuff. Kear has lot the plot he has run out of ideas, it's just like Tony Smith back in charge! What went off in the past is history we don't owe him a living. Having said that our main problems all go back to Ted Richrdsons fatal decision to sell Brough, a disgrace of a decision to sell him and have no replacement. Danny Brough was everything to Wakefield and without him we are nothing! If we still had him I bet we would of been comfortably in the top 8. What we've made on him we've lost in lack of crowds that would of been coming had we been wining! Well done Ted with your short term economics!

Spot on. To try and lift the depression I watched the DVD of the Leeds game at the start of the season but it only depressed me more. Brough winning the MoM, running the game and kicking Leeds all over the park. How can it be good business to let your best player leave and not replace him with an equivalent player.

Can't wait for the season to end but what have we to look forward to next season ?

It can't finish soon enough for me! It's to hard believe this was the same team that beat Leeds and run saints close on there own patch. Wounder what our recruitment will be like next season, with our limited budget it looks like we'll be raiding the championship. As long as there English lads, it's a policy that's worked before.

The club is having no more of my hard earned cash anymore whilst JK is in charge. I dont mind getting beat if we are commited and give 100% but when was the last time we gave that, we cant tackle cant pass and wouldn't be in the top 6 of the championship. I have never been so down in 30 years of watching wakefield. TIME FOR KEAR TO GO NOW. Mr kear said earlier in the year that watching wigan was like watching paint dry, i wish i was watching paint dry instead of the crap that we are getting served up.
