Do you remember the Pearman debacle. When the penny had dropped that actually we had no money at all and the CVA was soon to follow we had to cancel players contracts including Goulding and Prescott to name but a few. The next weekend Saints came to Belle Vue we beat them with a bunch of kids playing. Strange things happen.

Blaymire > Hyde
Moore > Gledhill

Would be good to see this weekend.

dont know whats the panic for, i remember a few years back we dropped all the so called stars like Bobby Goulding, Fatnamara and co and put out the kids against Saints and we won and won easily at that

To be fair George is allways injured and i would seriously look into getting rid of him think hes gone backwards. Murphy a big miss.Morton a miss cause we have to put up with Blanch for another week.
Johnson, millard and Blaymire waste of space get the young lads in do better without them. Jeffries is a miss when he can be d but thats once in every 4 games. Kirmond I like him good player and Obst will be a boost so not too bad. I think a week off for moore will do him good. And get Gledhill in.

May be a reason some of the youngsters didn't play midweek against Wigan. Hopefully they are finally gonna get there chance.

Looked a decent prospect 2 years ago but just cant stay fit I would agree time to get rid

Dale Ferguson is another who looked a real prospect but cant stay fit and as not developed unlike Joe Westerman

Perfect opportunity for the fringe players to get a chance. I am an optimist but even sometimes the most optimistic have to concede the play offs are probably out of our reach this season. So why the hell not give the kids a chance, there's a lot to be said for youth over experience. Failing that there are one or two candidates on here who could step up and play at the weekend, after all they talk a good game.

Risky if they are not ready for this step but yes its possible.

I would hardly say Saints were on form. Saints have won 2 of their last 4, as have Wakefield. In fact I'd go as far to say that Saints' performance against Catalans was their worst of the season, it was like watching a bunch of amateurs, and the performance against Quins was not much better. The scoreline very much flattered Saints and they were lucky to scrape home. I'm expecting a much tighter game than most on here, maybe 8-12 points in it.
