Blaymire, Murphy and Hyde and can all cover at FB.

I'd have him over Blaymire, not seen Hyde play so can't comment, but I do like Mathers as a player and think he would be a good addition.

I hope so too. I enjoy playing "Spot the Mathers" (a really hard game that involves trying to spot him on any of the replays of his team conceding a try). It'd be too easy to see how far out of position he was when at the match.

I'm sure we can accommodate another fullback,As long as the RFL will let us play with 2 of them on the pitch at the same time with disregarding the 13 player rule.

Currently we could do with 14 on the pitch to sure things up a bit.

We should look to sign players who are better than what we have. Mathers is a better player than Blaymire and Murphy long term is wing/centre. Therefore we should look to sign him. Personal opinions of players is irrelevant.

Half backs and a hooker is a priority I agree. But no chance of that this season. Just saying that if Kear does stay in charge for next season he has to be ruthless and wield the axe on under performers and dead wood at the club. For me Blaymire is included in this category along with Gleeson, Blanch, Leo-Latu, Bibb and Cooke.

I'd rather have Mathers than hodgson some of you lot are clueless, he's a great fullback and an outstanding player. He'd easily walk into to your team of all stars

Mathers 2 years ago - wouldn't touch with a barge pole.

Mathers now - far better than anything in our backline currently - at least with ball in hand. He has been both creating and finishing tries - and if we were lucky enough to tempt him (which we won't IMO), then I would be pleased indeed.

Our current backline is the worst performing one since we've been in SL - and just shows ho reliant we've become on the 'kick' to score our tries. We can't create an overlap to save our lives - and if we did, we wouldn't know what to do with it.

Geez - I've never been so close to just walking away from all this crap!

Full Backs and Hookers is all you need it's the future and Kear's seen it...
