The first event of the Jason Demetriou Testimonial is a Ladies night being held at a brand new venue The Space,Trinity Space Centre, Waldorf Way Wakefield on Saturday 29 May from 7.30pm to 2am. It is an event not to be missed as it features a Full Monty style performance from members of the Wildcats Squad a host of other events including a disco and karaoke. Tickets are priced at just £10 and are available from the venue as well as on sale on the Jason Demetriou Testimonial Stall and around the ground at Harlequins game. They are also on sale in the club shop. The stall will also be selling JD pens, wrist bands and taking orders for the testimonial shirt.

I don't believe that but it's how you define entertainment I suppose. If you think a bar plus music is entertainment, then ok.

I don't think the reason people are going will be on from 8pm until 2.00am, assuming half an hour to settle 300 people that's 6 hours.

If I was a betting man I would wager nothing happenng until 9 to 9.30pm.

Typical Wakefield. Yesterday the shop said they would ask Jason today and get back to us as they have been called loads by people asking the same question.

So we ring back today and guess what? Jason came in but they forgot to ask. They helpfully suggested 'the first act might be 8.39 but they don't know'.

at a guess i would suggest they will have the doors open for at least a hour before korky starts strutting to make way for latecomers

TBF this is the usual format for these events. The doors are opened in plenty of time for people to come, get a seat, have a drink and get their positions.

AFAIK the venue has been given for free / a very good rate - therefore thay have 'gambled' on making their money from the drinks bought.

So I think it a little unfair to be so negative on those people you consider not to be giving details and like everyone else attending this, as with any concert / event, you will need to 'gamble' on what you think may happen.

I wouldn't expect the main events to happen until 8.30/9.00 at the earliest myself - but it's not really my cup of tea, so I'm not going!

You're complaining because the club can't tell you exactly what time JD and co will be gettin their keks off?!
