Heard he went off last night with quite a nasty blow last night and never returned to the pitch and I have two questions?

1. Is he alright?
2. Will he be fit for next Saturday?

Believe he got hit with a stray boot, and was running off like he was a bit drunk probably precautionary he wasn't allowed back on.

I'm pretty sure he'd be fit for next week.

didnt see him re-appear after the final whistle, didnt seem in too much trouble when he was walking off though

Deep cut in his scalp above the right ear, I suspect he needed quite a few stiches and adjustments to his hair do. Seemed OK going off smiling to the home fans near the touchline.
Now if that was football he would be stretchered off and sedated in case of going into a trauma, instead Brough just jogged off.

He was on patting the other players on the back at the end when they came to applaud the support. Seemed ok.

Saw Danny yesterday at a Paul Sculthorpe Training Day at Thronhill Trojans. He said he had split an artery which was why there was so much blood but had had it stitched and was fine. What a hero, he did a brilliant job with the kids. My son had a great time and came away buzzing. Well done Danny and the other players - Paul Sculthorpe, Garry Schofield and Keith Mason and well done Thornhill Trojans for organising it and being so friendly.

what about tronc he went off near end with physio at side of him

Think Tronc will be ok - saw him on the treadmill at my gym Sunday afternoon. Didn't look to be much wrong with him to my admittedly untrained eye.
