Apols for my cynicism but the combined pressure of Sky and the fear of refunds has given us a game that as far as the TV viewers are concerned is a joke.

Think if anything it will be worse on the terraces.

this is super league and tbh all 14 clubs should have contingency plans , however it adds a new dimension for this game ..... i remember hull kr playing in worse fog a year or two ago.

always remember getting battered by widnes with jonathon davies and all about 24 nil after 20 mins the fog came down match abandoned re-arranged for midweek and we won 12-10 or something like that

yes that was at odsal known for the fog dropping into the stadium.

just been talking about that game - think I got a raffle ticket handed to me on the way out to prove I'd been & to get free entrance to the re- arranged game!

Yes I remember that. Widnes were in their pomp at the time. We were poor as I remember and they raced into a big early lead. I was also handed some type of ticket in the old shop at back of bowling alley. It was after that game the cub inserted a paragraph in the season tickets about games being abandoned in the future.

I think st helens have got lost in the fog...

Great game watched it on Sky +HD +Brail.

It was clearer picture on the radio.

would not of made any difference to radio bias crap if the fog was 10 times thicker

A shame the weather was so bad. It would have been a good game.

I too remember that game very well.It was a night game & the fog came rolling in from the Donny RD. end,
& as the fog got thicker Widnes scored down the left. I remember Jonathan Davis lining up the conversion & asking the ref "where,s the bleeping posts)? to which the ref replied something like "not a clue-just kick it anywhere i,m abandoning it anyway). Great that we won the re-arranged match. Saved by the fog!
