How come youve seen enough to of Rooney to say (on the widnes board) that he is past it but a good kicker. It's probably fair to say that Rooney isn't quite at SL standard anymore, a combination of injuries and age perhaps, but, he's probably too good for the Championship.

Perhaps 'has been' is a bit far, but I can understand the sentiment.
