Webb was poor tonight the conditions really got the better of him, when Senior knocked on I thought Cas would go for drop goal early but they waited and made a big big mistake. Senior then pops up and makes a good break to set up a nervous finish. Thought McGuire had lost it when he kicked it, was shouting for the drop goal.



Talk about mad, taking shirts off in that rain.

Cas should have nailed it and deserved to.

Leeds won and Cas lost, nevermind all this unlucky rubbish, mistakes happened all the way through the game and each one played a part.



Sherwin fumbled a ball and Shenton reacted like any other player would, just because it happend late in the game makes no difference.

If i remember rightly didn't we lose our first SL game at cas after a charge down of a drop goal attempt in front of the posts and a player being offside, can't recall who it was? (now that was unlucky

What a load of F-ups at the end!



Why did Leeds want to go down the blind side when they should have setup for a drop goal? Ball was passed to Danny Mags on the blind side and he was on his own, he brought it back into the middle and then put a grubber kick through when really either he or Sinfield should have gone for the 1 pointer!



Then, Sherwin fumbles the ball and makes no attempt to reclaim it leaving Shenton on his own who picked it up!



Still a cracking game though, all it needed was Sinfield to miss the pen at the end.

TBF Leeds had less than 1 minute left on the board and was forced to take a tap 20 , cas were out on feet and could not contain them Leeds on the other hand played to the clock and the rest is as they say history. A draw is no good for me the only bonus of a Leeds cas match is one lwill lose

He put in a lot of effort. Think you're being a bit tough on him here, tbh. If the pass had been good, though, that would have won it for Cas, no doubt.



Much better game than the FC - Wire game tonight, especially given the conditions. Felt very sorry for Cas, but that feeling quickly evaporated after I read the Cas board.....

was a good game two commited sides in awful conditions ALL CREDIT must go completely too castleford though for making a game off it in conditions we were told endlessly didnt suit them when they were convincingly beaten by us unless that was an excuse
