Honestly i don't think we're doing all that much wrong. But such is the strength of the league that basic errors can and will result in defeat.

The problem we now have is confidence, you can see it in the body language of the players when they conceed tries. I think they need belief in themselves, but when you're not winning it's hard.

At the moment it is a blip in an otherwise succesful season But a bit like the Giants when you are playing well and your game is based on hard work eventually fatigue will set in.

Wakefield have been putting a lot of emotional and physical energy into their games and it seems to have caught up with them.

You need to be able to rest players to freshen up. Hopefully our rest against Rochdale will be the mid season tonic we needed.

I agree. In years gone by these last few games we have lost, we would have lost by much more. We have still been in with a shout going into last 10 mins or so.

I have talked about peeks and troughs at Wakefield. Currently the gap between the two are much smaller than in years gone by. Which proves we are heading in the right direction.

I think we are heading in the right direction and with what I believe is the lowest salary cap/spending in the league we clearly punch well above our weight. In order to compete at the highest level and challenge the top teams on a regular basis we need a couple of class additions to the squad that will make that difference.

To do this we need to increase our income. The Club are trying to do this with the share offer but in a time of recession money is tight for the majority and its difficult to part with money and not really see anything for it.

I think in order to attract people to buy shares the club should offer incentives. The minimum purchase I believe is £100. Why not offer £20 discount off season tickets for the next 5 seasons. You are then in effect getting your shares for nothing and the Club is getting the opportunity to keep you as a season ticket holder for at least 5 years. If you wish to buy more then the incentives could be structured accordingly.

I certainly feel incentives should be offered if the share offer is to be successful.

That's a very good idea. Maybe they will look at that if the take-up is poor.

valid point, I have and will admit to returning to watch wakey on a more regular basis, I have for the last three years been a season ticket holder rather than paying on the day and its now become a habit

I know a few "pay on the day fans" that would go for that.

Does anybody know what the uptake of shares has been? I e-mailed the club last Friday outlining some concerns I had over the minimum purchase and asking some questions but have received no reply.
