| At the moment in super league which club do we think has the best young talent all round and in no order you top ten under 21 's in the game? Might be a boring thread but something to think about

| St Helens seem to have a bit of a conveyor belt of excellent prospects coming through. Whether or not they are made to look better in an all conquering side time will tell. Wigan always have their fair share as do Leeds and Hull.

Think Hudds must be up there. They have a lot of young talent in the first team squad already.

Problem is at Hudds they have nothing coming through from the reserves/18's. Adam Walker is about the only one not an offical first teamer despite being just upgraded that looks anything like. Lawrence and Cudjo are 2 very good young players though and McNally looks to be a good prospect but i would class these as first team squad players despite McNally being on loan.
If you are looking for clubs with the best junior players then its the usual suspects in my opinion.
Wigan and Saints traditionally dominate the 18's while Wigan dominate the reserves.
Leeds have struggled to produce top junior teams of late but within the teams they do produce there are some top notch players.
Cas are another club although there reserves let them down the 18's contain some real talent.
Bradford are another club with some very good individuals in there set up even if the teams themselves are not amongst the better ones.
The standard of the reserves generally is poor and does not prepare the better junior players for first team level mainly due to the lack of competition, this needs to be addressed as i feel it is really harming our sport. Personally believe feeder teams are the only way to go.

Dont think anyone can argue with you there. Especially Wigin if only half of them live up to their potential they wont need to bring in many overseas' players. Young Farrell from the 18s' looks a very good prospect.

Farrell and Mossop are 2 players rated very very highly those 2 long with Hansen should all be pushing to take the hopefully vacated spot of Phil Bailey in 2010.
Many clubs take on and produce players of potential but somewhere along the line i think t Reserve level they faulter, for a number of resons, but i firmly believe the main problem is the poor standard of that level and it is an issue that must be addressed if we are to ensure we maximise the potential conversion rate of these players.
It is no use for example having plyers like Tomkins and Eastmond scoring between 3-5 tries a game, it does nothing for them.

Overall you are right you can only play to the opposition. The plus side of that for such as Mossop and Farrell who i got wrong, he plays in the reserves does he not, is that with showing more promise than some of the others' at least they get given more time and patience and first opportunity
in the 1st team squad. The problem is they cant keep them all, the others fortunately will be allowed to go to other sl clubs, which is Wigins loss and everybody elses' gain which to Wigins cost has come back to haunt them to an extent.

| Saints & Cas
Saints have the likes of Wheeler/Eastmond etc that look like they'll be something special.
Cas have a Stand Off in the u18's that comes from Chorley called Ryan Brierley who looks class in the 18's and recently earned himself a new contract.
Wakefield have a few good players as well, especially Southernwood (is he still injured or back playing?)

Wakefields Matty Wilde is a new young prospect he is currently playing for the 18s but is known in 21s aswell. He already has several national honours and is a tremendus player. It is a over used catch phrase but he definatley is one to watch out for

| Think there are a few god players in the academy at wakefield, one for me who i think will make the grade in the next few years will be chris annakin. But i can't help think that salford and cas will be the ones to look out for in a few years
