Do Trinity have one? If not does anyone fancy trying to form one. Seems a good few other clubs have them, but not seen any info on a Trinity one. Now i appreciate i am not a direct "fan" but i think it would be nice to represent the city against other clubs.

Personally i would love to still play but cannot commit the time to it but a social game would i think be a good craic. If we do not have the interest on here do you think we could get it from a mates connection?

It's tag and touch rugby we play, but Wakefield Community Rugby League club was originally formed as a supporters team (though we now cover anyone who just wants to play the sport). We play supporters from other teams as well as taking part in festivals in area's to encourage other people to take up tag rugby.

Training takes place Sunday mornings (when we aren't playing) at 11am, and Tuesdays from half 6. Both sessions take place within the college grounds within Thornes Park.

Anywhere across the backs or as a ball handling 13/hooker, the touch does sound interesting but was thinking a bit more contact.

Played a game in the reserves last year at 13 (due to the club having no numbers) first time i had played in a few years and loved it but could not comitt to training full time with an amateur club.

so its agreed you at 6 and vasty at 7

Age restrictions?

Anyone is welcome to come down and join in, however you have to be over 14 years old to play in any of the league games and RFL run tournaments.

There are no other restrictions on playing Tag Rugby.

Jonh won't need them mate when he takes the first hit, nature will take care of that

Is there a possibility of this happening or even Wakey fans having a tournament.

As for a tournament, I can't remember the date off top of my head (and it needs confirming with the RFL) but we are looking into holding a Tag Rugby Festival (maybe with a bit of a Masters' event as well) sometime towards the end of June / Early July time.

We should have the best team in the country given how well we know the game on this forum! The coach should be an easy position to fill!
