That makes me laugh so much - I love the fact that they were booing him off at half time I really think they must have been watching a different game

To be fair we were penalised out the game in the first half. We got nothing, and really did deserve more. To say he was biased his stupidly one-sided though.

Ill-discipline and a sh*t second half performance cost us. Credit to your guys on a well-deserved and comfortable victory.

he was appalling for both teams, as a cas fan i feel very hard done by but even there was no way at all we deserved to win tonight you were the better side throughout.

i was however lost for words when that punch in the tackle went without a penalty when it was infront of both bentham and the linesman

castleford simply not good enough end of said on the way to the game if we tackled like we did against wigan away castleford wouldnt score enough points to beat us and i was prooved right although the score flattered us

The first marker goes left, the second going right, it's against the rules to peel away and you got away with it! We should have made more runs to flag it up and get the penalty but with Bentham you don't get squat do you?

Wakey played to the ref and Cas didn't. We let the tackled player get up too quick and Wakey held 'em down for that second or so more, just the same as the Huddersfield match (which we also lost). Fair play to Wakey. A professional job. The basic fact is, your guys were more professional, quicker around the play the ball, and seemed to have more desire. The ref didn't throw the ball into touch with a 3 on 2 overlap, the ref didn't knock on, the ref didn't kick out on the full. It was a p!ss poor performance fron Cas, but a solid performance from Wakey. A well deserved win. And vocal fans as well. There can be no complaints, no excuses.

Agreed. They make decisions in a split second. Sometimes rights, sometimes wrong. Just like the players. Shame we can't have a little more respect as without them, there is no game.

a good honest take on the game. credit to you personally. after a heavy defeat at home to your rivals its easy to use the 'stock' excuse of 'the ref cheated us out of it'. good on you!

But if this were football and there were as many mistakes as we continually get there would be an up-roar, in football in a weekend there is one mistake over all games and it is the centre of attention

Sadly I wasn't at the match so I can't comment on Bentham's performance tonight, but he stands head-and-shoulders above all the other refs for being plain poor

I wasn't at the game either and can't comment on tonight, but I think he's come on very well lately. He must be rated highly too as he's reffed the last two really, really big games of Saints and Leeds, and pretty well too I reckon.

As in the sense that Cas fans cannot say Bentham was biased. Didn't make myself clear.

I think Bentham's a dire ref - dunno what Cas are complaining about, he almost NEVER checked them for offside but kept doing us for it in the first half. Thought the game flowed better in the second half, thankfully, and we looked better for it.

Cas could only seem to get up to our line in the first half off the back of penalties, the whole team looked like they were blowing! Applied some telling pressure to us early in the second half though, we did well considering

Thats exactly how i saw it, seemed like Bentham it us hard in the first 40 and then hit Cas hard in the second, i'm sure it does not work that way but thats how it seemed.

The Cas kick out on the full, i'm told was a foot inside the field of play, when Matterson threw a wobbler along with Westerman.

Well it seems about a foot and a half away, Wakey fan stood near the spot told me is was in no doubt.
