But anyone who actually thought we played well last week must be deluded! It was great to win, but it was a terrible game, we just cashed in on their errors. The forwards just haven't matched their opposites for weeks now, and I include Fifita in that, injured or not. The difference today in contact was just frightening.

I find it hard to pick out Pauli because and I could be wrong he was not spelled in 35 degree heat until late in the second half. I saw a completely disjointed team who died with the ball and appeared clueless until the last two minutes after the Pauli break.
I would write this off as just one of those games but unfortunately this is the norm and last week was the exception.

Im not blaming injuries but we do have them from our squad we currently have ashurst tommy arona england batcholer and huby ( i know he just been released but he wouldnt of had he not been injured)who woukd a be in 17

Injured players are back but I think the root cause of what we are seeing is the effect of the players who has to play because there was mo other option are now gassed, and where more so obvious away in the south of France in July.

. I'm sure everyone will be hugely dissapointed, players, coaches, fans. A winning result is the icing on the cake of a trip over. From all the posts that you've put on this forum you seem to be a very decent sort of guy, Mick, and definitely a glass half full man who sees nothing but the best. Just what, if anything, will convince you that at the moment we are a very bad side that appears not to be trying and let's the fans down week after week. We are on a very downward spiral, and the fans need to get the message across to those under-performers that they are professionals who are not producing what is expected.

Think Chester needs to come out and say what the Hudds coach said after we beat them. We need to forget top 5 and ensure we stay up. Players need to realise it is their and the clubs staffs livelihoods on the line. Might be a wake up call for some of them

I try to be positive Redscat as I hate negativity in general not just rugby but know how frustrating it is watching on occasions. I don't mind fans criticism and they deserve it at times. Some fans are critical in the right way but others are just nasty and abusive. There's also the ones that rarely post anything positively but attack at any given opportunity. You'll know the ones.
We were poor today and I was disappointed. I hope the players are honest with themselves and we get a response Friday!

That's a very fair point, Mick. I admire your optimism. I just wish we could walk away from more matches with the same "Ready Brek" glow that most of us had last week. and at the beginning of the season.
