The chanting yes but wasn't most of the crowd, that's banter chanting! I never took a step towards the cas fans or stewards and defiantly didn't jeer them on, me and my friends moved away when the trouble started like i said, I wear a Santa hat to some games it's just what I do, it was pure coincidence that I wore it yesterday and had banter with Wakefield fans and cas fans about it, I do wear it to somegames that's probably where you recognise me from! But I did nothing wrong apart from support my team, I moved when the trouble started no when the police came

If the "banter chanting" is what I think it will have been you could have been arrested for breach of the peace.

Most of the row along the back was 'banterchanting' apart from this I did nothing wrong and people were being arrested for trying to barge the stewards to get tOthe cas fans I beleive I'll hold my hands up to chanting but did nothing else

Come on, don't get all holier than thou just because you've got a stick to bash us with for a change. Banter is banter, and yeah, it's offensive, but it's not exactly serious, and is the sort of thing in a segregated stadium that is par for the course. I listened to two hours of the Hull derby with each set wanting to shoot their offspring for suggesting a potential allegiance to the other side.

For the start of the second half when I moved back to where I usually stand so unless I have a double I think your mistaken, I'm all for singing and bantering but violence and bottle throwing nah, that's not rugby league

i was stood in the west stand for the second half and these lads were to the left of me and my uncle the whole time. They were there well before any police turned up. They were actually sticking up for Ganson at one point when some drunken fans (one of with had a small child) were hurling constant abuse.

The fans rushing at each other was one thing, but it was idiots going after idiots. The thing that upset me was the Cas fan who hurled the glass bottle up at the roof, this could have hurt many fans who weren't interested in trouble. This fan needs to be pointed out by genuine Castleford fans or any stewards who maybe treating the affair as trivial.

I was hit by plastic bottles but not glass and wasn't aware that one was thrown at the roof! Was this is the second half? I couldn't free more with the flying vs though banter is banter Isnt it

Aye ok, there must have been another group of lads that looked just like you lot that appeared next to the Cas fans just after you moved from behind us! It's strange that you don't see anyone in a Santa hat for months and then all of a sudden two are at the same game isn't it!

I'm not saying you were there all the time, just made an appearance, shouted some abuse and then cleared off! I haven't suggested you were involved directly in the bottle throwing or violence but surely even you and your mates can see that you were involved in the steps leading up to that? When there are a group of drunken blokes, it's generally not a good idea to shout abusive songs and give them 'V's' before moving towards them. It all started there!

Here we have a winner. If someone comes at you, drunk or not you are going to see it as confrontational. The Cas fans had every right to be incensed by the actions of the group. The saying 'two wrongs do not make a right' goes well here, both parties at fault and like 18th Man says, this was one part of the equation that could/should of been avoided.
