If he says “the ocassion got to us” or that he’s going to get the players to remain calm then he needs to rethink that.

The players should be feeling the pressure and embracing the urgency to perform. Not trying to tip toe around it. Fact is we clawed a few points difference back tonight but we can’t continue with this attack and execution/errors.

That was dire, utterly clueless stuff again. Sean Long has made no difference, two weeks running our attack has been shocking. Wonder if Applegarth will throw him under the bus this time to try and cover up his huge failings as a head coach.

We shouldn’t be in the position where we are hoping to win most of our last matches.
I agree there should have been a change in coach and some new thinking weeks ago.
But - some of the players need to take some blame as well . There have been some shocking, amateurish performances by some players who don’t seem up to it.

So looking back over the seasons fixtures it looks like 22 although I’ve had to go on memory once I got past 20.

Bearing in mind the last game there came down to golden point we should have targeted this as a possible win. Cas losing at half-time should have been a major talking point and inspired them to come out fighting. To come back having not even scored a point is just typical Trin. Applegarth has to go.
