I don't know about fitness, strength, skill, guile etc but Trinity certainly seem to recruit the thickest players in rugby league. The number of dumb, dumb penalties we concede is unbelievable. Don't think you can blame fhat on Smith.

Great to get a win but very concerned with the attacking play. Did our best to lose that game, especially against such a injury hit side. Halfbacks need looking at for the next game.

A win is a win. Just take it and be happy for once in your negative existence. It doesn't matter if you win scrappy or with style. It's still 2 points on the league table.

Got Warrington away on Friday, so should go looking to play under no pressure.
If we lose on Friday, that will be 3 away games and 1 home game and we could easily have been 2 wins from 4.
Plenty of time left to iron things out.

Those 5 words don't negate the negativity of the rest of your post or the majority of your previous posts. Making a statement like "Great to get a win, but let's not get carried away just yet" that's a grounded comment. Not the drivel you usually spew out.
I can imagine you are the kind of person where (hypothetically) if we scored 1000 points in a season, went unbeaten and only conceded a drop goal. You'd start a thread dedicated to that drop goal, another calling for the closest player to the kick being transferred out of the club because they didn't block it and another one calling for the coach to be sacked.

Defence has improved no end and the lads showed plenty of metal and character. Feels good to get a win.

Some work on the attack now in training and get some better plays/structures and we'll be going in the right direction. Still think our lack of a 7 will hinder us big time.

This might be quite a surprise for you considering I was quite vocal in wanting Agar and Webster to go, but not once have I called for Smiths head. We nearly lost the game today, the likes of you and Vastman can insult me all you want but it won't change the fact our attacking play is as dire as it's ever been. Defence was great, especially Johnstones match saving tackle on Shaw.

Thought there was some improvement today in the Miller finn combo. The forwards ran onto the ball today which gave more options and in some cases some big impact. Was certainly an improvement. Still a ways to go but better.

Lynee was very good today and there was some strong defence from them. Would've been nice for Johnstone to get that all down in the corner. Wasn't far off at all.

Need to cut at least half the penalties and errors otherwise other SL teams will really punish Trinity with a big score.

May be worth giving Hall a run at 7 plus some forward rotation with Walker and Yates against Warrington?

Just got back elated with the win and am met by yet more negativity. We bloody won a tense game, and I am pleased with the way we withstood intense pressure. Sure plenty of room for improvement , but cannot some of you miserable gets enjoy the win!
