I the one other is a player coach role with wakefield as i feel he has a lot to offer from a coaching point of view and he'd help with developing young players. He'd also be good for another season in superleague!

If JK is appointed at Batley on wednesday he could end up there as no 2 in a player coach role. Or so i've been told.

They think he's got another season in him. Yes, he's aged 3 seasons in the last one but hopefully next season will be less stressful.

I don't think not signing Morrison would lead to a fans revolt. Sad fact is that players get older and can't do what they used to do. We have to be more ruthless and cut players who we don't think are up to it any more. A gamble, maybe, but look at Sid Domic for example.

If losing a 35 year old Aussie who does a good job nothing more is a enough to upset "the fans" then we really are in a bad way.

Dont buy that, our club are the ones who need to make the hard decisions. Not make a decision on what some fans (not all) want.

No, all those fans calling for him to be signed would be bagging the board!

So i accept the club/board will sign who they want and it should be their decision. At the end of the day they will rise or fall on their decisions and how they play out.

The Glen Morrison P.R. machine has certainly been running in overdrive during the last few week.

As i have said on another thread. It is all dependent on who the alternative is??? But based on performances this year, (80 mins in most games as well!!) he should be a guarentee for a new contract. I may even go as far as to say i would rather see Morro in a shirt next year than Ali Lauititi

Agreed Trojan and Morrison is a tough decision, glad I don't have to make the decision. T-R-I-N-I-T-Y gives a good example of where the club got it right with Domic but on the flip side it look like Bradford got it wrong with both Morrison and Menzies. As I've posted elsewhere I'd love to keep him in a playing and coaching role and as mentor to our promising young back rowers.

ambivalent on this one. he’s old but solid. he made the exiles which shows the genuine regard that his skills have. minded to think that at the right price he’s a good man to have around. one point of note is that not all our players can be “good squad players”, some of them have to be stand out performers and the first names down on the sheet.

Glenn is still a pivitol part of our team he as carried so many players on his back this year. His leadership is outstanding. He is worth a 1 year deal without a shadow of a doubt he deserves 2 if it was upto me. His injury record apart from his last year at Bradford as been excellent a broken hand this year is a impact injury could happen to anyone through his career hes got a excellent injury record.
