Well I'm with you on that one.
An improved performance - in the last 15 minutes but let's face it we were pretty abysmal up to that. I couldn't see a way forward when we were 18-6 down, we were making childish errors our attack was clueless.
I honestly don't know how we turned it, but who cares a win is a win.
Gaskill scored a good try but until then was very ordinary and probably not as good in attack as MJ. That said I accept he will no doubt start the next game at FB. I hope he continues where he left off today because up to that he has been a disappointment.
Prior to the DG Miller was pretty ordinary too, but what a cracking goal.
The last 15 showed the players can do it -so why haven't they up to that?

Well I'd be for that because it looked like Lyne's injury was bad. he's probably out for a bit. Gaskill CAN play he just hasn't for most of the games he's played.

Did anyone notice that Tanginoa played the majority of the second half in SR. No surprise he sent Batch on a break and made 3/4 half breaks and busts. More effective today wide running than his previous 6/6 games. Hopefully sense is seen and he spells at SR again. Pitts I thought did well in the centre field at 13.

Well done to the team for not throwing the towel in. Something switched on around the 65/70 minute mark. Whatever it was we need more of that!

I really do like the look of Hall/Murphy edge. That could be a quality pairing for years to come!

I’ll admit to being frustrated at times today and thought we could just be a bit smarter in areas of our play but we won and the effort was excellent. Job done and let’s see more of the same against Wire.

We dug in really well today, especially in the second half.

Wasn’t pretty but we stuck at it and stayed in the game, though I didn’t start believing until Hall went over.

Big shout out to Batch, who had another great game. Of all the players rumoured to be going, he would be the one I’d be fighting the most to keep.

Hopefully, we could be playing Warrington just at the right time.

It would be great with a couple of wins under our belt, going into the Magic Weekend. Beat Toulouse, and there could be daylight between us and them.

Apart from Saints and Wigan, everybody is beating each other, and there’s nothing much separating about 6 sides.

Absolutely ordinary for 65 minutes but, what a finish to the game.
Fifitas second spell was awesome, he was unplayable and with Connor off the field, we managed to take advantage.

It feels like we won way more than just one game today, it was a HUGE win.

Having reflected on the match yesterday, a few things spring to mind.
This team can play, as they did in the last 15 minutes - it's a mystery to me why they were able to switch it on then but it does show what they can do.
Tanginoa was his most effective for ages, but only when he played out wide where he should be.
Ashurst - the best game this season I reckon.
DF was a marked man all the match but his second spell was the catalyst I think for our revival.
Miller and Lino, were unremarkable most of the match but there when it mattered.
For me, the jury is out on Gaskill at FB, but I will say he took the high balls and he took his try well.
Something to build on - now they have to do it more comfortably against wire.
