In a way it's a bit of a shame that we will not see the best cas team against the best Wakefield team, as I think fully fit both could challenge for honours...

That being said, both sides say that they have strength in depth so injuries aren't really an excuse for whoever loses.

In a strange way you'll probably learn a lot more about both sides tonight, with regard to their squad depth, resilience and adaptability in diversity.... All we can hope is that both sides can put some structures together and make a good game of it (obviously with a cas win

) for me personally a win in a disjointed error strewn affair would be a worrying indication of our ACTUAL squad depth... That being said, I'd take any two points really - to hell with diplomacy lol

Not had much of a foot hold in the game. However the first try came from a Cas knock on - Clare tried knocking it back and it went forward, looked liked a MCB knock on but don't think it was looking at replay. Their last try came from a cheeky ball steel against Fifita which got given a knock on, after we got given a pen for a ball steel the play before. Cas playing the ref with McMeeken rightly getting penalised on their own line for trying to milk a pen

To be fair the forwards are not laying the platform. Fifita not having the best game and the others have nothing. Cas quicker, stronger and more enthusiastic. Hope I'm wrong but I can't see much changing in the second half.
