Agreed. I am clinging to the hope they only agreed to the appeal because they know they will win, but as you say this is the RFL.

Cas fans fretting that we will beat them last game of the season and condemn them to the middle 8's.

Not sure it's the fault of the RFL. Marwan wasn't just appealing, but was insisting that his appeal be heard by a specific organisation, who do it for profit. They agreed, but I can understand their reservations, and then it's got to fit into the timetable of the organisation.

What I find most interesting is that Marwan is doing it himself, rather than his lawyers. From my experience, the worst clients are those who won't listen to sound advice, and they usually end up doing it themselves.

Couldn't agree more - MarwanK seems to be just the kind of fella who would ignore his lawyer and insist on doing it himself; and equally, just the kind of fella who would make a hash of it, because he can't resist ranting and showboating.

To be honest, I wouldn't mind Salford getting they're points back if it meant Widnes drop out of the eight.

One of the most frustrating things about not been able to finally clinch our top 8 spot, it the fact that we can't quite plan ahead as yet to 2017.

I was talking to someone in the North Stand yesterday, and we were discussing new signings for 2017.

Apparently, there are agreements that have been agreed for next year verbally, on the proviso that we are in Super League, and the contracts will be signed and announcements made as soon as we are definately safe for next year

Well Leeds are gone.
Hull KR and Hudds play each other so one of them are gone.

All reliant on Salfords points hearing and if we can get another point from the last 3 games. I think we can.

Can't say I'm confident of winning any of these, even though I know we can.
I think we'll be down to the Cas game to decide who is 7 and 8th with 8th being worried about the Salford tribunal.

We should be supporting Hull for the shield from now on. They will do us a big favour if they are undefeated in next 3 games.

Which still leaves us and Cas battling it out for 7th/8th in the last game but any reinstatement of points to Salford puts both us and Cas in a horrible position.

Tbh as unlikely as it maybe, I wouldn't be surprised if we turned Catalans over. After losing games we should/could have won, it would be the Wakey way to win one we're not meant to. Can't see us getting any joy over in Wigan mind.

I think Wigan will be after revenge from their embaressing result against us earlier this season, I hope we are prepared because they could have the last laugh...
