Under normal circumstances I wouldn't have minded this signing. Yeah it's a punt true enough and the players best days are behind him but as a short term fix in the centres, who knows could work. No denying the lads past class.

However these are not normal times and this appears yet another feeble panic stricken prod in the dark. It just stinks of utter desperation and lack of leadership ability. It seems an almost deliberate and wilfull act of self destruction by Agar.

For heavens sake MC wake up and smell the coffee, Agar wants out and he's telling you in no uncertain terms. Either you're just not twigging it or you just don't care. Can he make it more obvious as he ships out players who may actually want to fight for the clubs and replaces them with mercenaries who will do just enough to pull a wage.

I've said it before, sack him now. As for who replaces him who cares, Belgium ran without an elected government for over a year and by common consent it went virtually unnoticed as the country functioned just fine.

That's all well and good but the harsh finical realities of life means you won't be turning up in any form for very much longer on those gates. Be realistic we can't possibly have budgeted for that gate.

The poll on here is 63% for Agar out, crowds are down to 3K and falling, everyone I talk to have had enough and voting with their feet.I'd say that IS the majority. Not so long ago this team regularly attracted 6, 7 sometimes 8K, with plenty of casual supporters happy to see a team making progress giving their all. This lot can't even get some of the season ticket holders to come, how bad is that? When is wonderful Agar gonna inject some fight into this team? Motivate them? Fire them up for the challenge? Pick a team of battlers? Same old same old week after week. If I thought he was at least getting the team fired up I would back him but I don't see it, seems to me he ain't bothered, goes through the motions as if he's running a pub team.

vastman - while I agree with most of your post I think its a bit unfair to suggest MC don't care.Anyone who puts their home on the line must care for gods sake would you put yours on the line I know I wouldn't have as much as I love this club.I think Agar has reverted to his days at Hull and playing Washbrook out of position at 6 and it looks like he is playing fantasy rugby league once again.I have said before that we have never had a good defence under his tenure and have let some real soft scores in against us.
For me MC has the best interests of the club but as he said early doors he don't know much about Rugby but loves the game.

You're right Vastman, the finances of the club must be taking a real hammering. We cannot surely go on with gates of less than 4k.
I thought that as I was standing on the West terrace on Sunday with huge gaps all around me. yet I cannot see the crowds improving unless there is an upsurge in form. Where the hell that's coming from I don't know.
One thing I do know is that if RA cannot lift the team for a game, of the magnitude of Sundays game, then it's probably time for someone else to have a go. I really think whoever loses that match will go down.

Thats all very noble but the longer people are just dutifully willing to accept the dirge we are seeing on a too regular basis then the more likely the club will suffer until it gets to a point where it can carry on no longer. And saying that someone who has already decided enough is enough and stopped coming through the gate due to Agars failings is not part of the majority is not just rubbish, its plain daft. Just maybe the fans can force change by showing their disatisfaction by whatever way they deem fit.

As it happens, mainly due to the fact Bradford are even worse than us, i think we might just sneak a win next weekend. But it doesn't alter the fact that i think its time for a change and the sooner the better.

I think Bradford will win and then they will get two points back, which leaves us four in front and London the week after will put us up to six clear, then two more wins should do it, but yes just over three thou is not good when MC was budgeting on six thou I think

We wont beat Bradford in fact I honestly believe they'll do us by 20-30. Simply because they'll have targeted the game as must win and be fired up which we wont cope with. Seems to me the attitude is win or lose "happy days".

However I would tolerate defeat, as we never win at Odsal even with decent non-experimental sides but to lose to London at home which isn't that unlikely would be the end for me until Agar's gone.

Warrington crowd was poor, but it was also raining on bank holiday weekend.

It was raining, what sort of excuse is that? I've stood there in hail, rain, sleet, snow the lot and without a stand too. The fact is people are fed up with continually getting short changed and fobbed off. The weather has never put anyone off, if the product is worth watching then they'll come no matter. Even poor teams in the past have encouraged me to go - they at least gave their all for the supporters, I can live with that, what I can't abide is a lack of effort from players and coach alike.

Isn't this why we spent money covering certain parts of the ground, so people couldn't use the 'it was raining and I'm not getting wet watching that'.
If I remember, it was drizzling in the morning but the rest of the day was pretty fair.

That's how I see it panning out and I know a few others who think the same. I've heard one comment saying Bradford will probably get 40. At the moment I wouldn't even begin to argue against that happening.

I don't know if you know him personally in which case you know more than I but if not you're being a touch naive.

I'm not outright accusing him of anything unto wards but I've said before his motives remain unclear. As for putting his home on the line I wouldn't read to much into that. It's a nice idea to think it was noble and to a degree it was but it was as I understand also an act of financial self preservation. Yes he put his money on the line, but if he hadn't he stood to lose his original investment. I admire the fact he knuckled down and sorted it in a sensible manner rather than walk away but lets not over romanticise it for more than what it was.
