WHY would we be surprised? I have no doubt RA has knowledge of the game far beyond mine or anyone else on here. I maintain he makes a great assistant coach, the trainer with the plans, the nice guy in the camp who is a valuable member of the team. I also have no doubt he has no leadership or organisational skills and could not motivate a poop out of his bottom. PhE'S idea of a move upstairs, maybe then a compromise deal on his contract so we can let someone else have a crack, seems a great idea to me. For me, it's papering over the cracks.
The 'in or out' threads are losing there appeal as people lose interest with how the club is going.
I like a few on here used to cack myself when a big relegation battle came around, wondering what the consequences maybe afterwards.
But due to the lack of enthusiasm in speaking about sub standard performances, instead talking about geling, not knowing our players best positions and there players are better than ours attitude.
For me that's rubbish, if you want the fans to back the club, you have to rev them up.

Well I base my opinions on what has happened, not on what may or may not happen. The fact is we lost games we could/should've won due to tinkering, it makes me laugh how some people forget the awful form we showed prior and after the two wins against London and Catalans, and the same with Hull and Widnes. In Kear's last year, the rugby played was almost as bad as this year but at least that squad had passion and fight and desire to put in 110% and there is a lack of that with this squad and that is the most concerning thing for me considering that relegation is back. There is no motivation and that's down to Agar. So yes he is a parasite, and was a parasite at Hull, and will continue to be one because if he is a rugby league coach never kind SL, then I'm the flipping Pope.

I think we are delving into personal abuse by calling people parasites and I don't think we should allow this board to degenerate to that level.

I think it's easy to forget we have the lowest playing budget in the league and while he's not doing a great job, as others have said. 2 wins from the next 2 and we are pretty much home and dry in terms of avoiding relegation, which was/is the only priority this year.

It is in your case. You were peddling that line when Glover was in charge and it clearly wasn't the case. I said it wasn't then and I'll say it isn't now. I look at our squad and it won't come cheap, it's certainly more expensive than London's and I don't reckon it's a massively different to Widnes, Cas or Hull KR.

Cas, Widnes and KR are spending cap I believe and London will be spending more because of the living costs down there + overseas signings

Whatever we are spending on the squad is a bit of a red herring really. It is also a very good lame excuse for a failing coach when the squad performance is questioned.

Whatever the squad is costing, the question should be, is it giving us value for money ?
From what I have seen so far it isn't.

Rose tinted maybe, but I'm always prepared to give someone the benefit of the doubt. Sometimes I am proven wrong, but more often than not it turns out that people are in the whole decent people. I don't think Glover came into the club with anything but good intentions, has found out that he has bitten off more than he can chew and made some bad decisions.

That's life, it happens.

As for the rest of it, you will excuse me if I value the words of someone who actually runs the club more than you and your oh so mysterious sources.

I hope not, because it means we have lost. I don't care who the coach is provided we win the next two games.
