Thought they tried their best today but unfortunately effort can only take you so far. I think we have a couple who are now playing past their best and need to be moved on.

The only thing I am not happy about is the stupid penalties that we continue to give away. That is in our control but we still do it week after week.

We got told a couple of months ago that even if we lost, we'd never be beaten on effort. Since then, we have been beaten in effort and points in almost every game.

No direction today, looked like they we're only interested in the defeat. Credit to the couple of young lads, they were the only ones who put the effort in

Disagree i’m afraid. If he wasn’t fit he shouldn’t have played. Reynolds would not have been any worse and the experience would have been invaluable. But Brough wanted to play and Chezzy, and i quote, wasn’t going to go against that. Wrong call, he was shocking. Won’t be his fault though i promise you.

Personally, I thought there was effort there today, and right up until, for me,what was a shocking call,the sin binning of Rocky, we were in the game.

During that time they ran in 2 more tries.

Huge call regarding Broughie, but to be honest, thought he was more effective than Miller, and to be honest don't think we had much of a choice given the players out

For me, we are lacking a captain, who can rally the troops when we need it. I don't think hes that.

On a plus note, a good debut for Croft, and good performances from Crowther and Kershaw again.

Thought the booing of Kirmo when injured was in poor taste,but I will say this, we watched from.home today, and when the cameras were in our dressing room,when the cameras were on Kirmo, he just didn't look up for it. He did seem ok though and came round quite quick,when he was sat joking with Fifita. Been a great servant, but I think he's gone round one season too many.

well these last few games has knocked the stuffing out of me, I'll be happy if we get wins against Leeds and Cas at home in the coming weeks, I very much doubt we will be anywhere the top 5 at the end of the season it was good while it lasted

England and Randall ill give you. But lynne and kirmond are ridiculous suggestions. May be time for kirmond to retire, but not trying I'm not having.

England looks scared to me. Randell too slow. Wood for the full 90 looks the best.

Their first ten points and many subsequent points were down to stupid penalties that we insist on giving away in large numbers every game. Miiller was terrible, England was anonymous today and Broughie obviously should not have been playing. Like others, I agree that Croft, Kershaw and Crowther were very good and did not let the side down. Our creative ideas were almost non-existant for most of the match, but let's face it Saints were out of this world. I can honestly say that team are possibly the best I've ever witnessed in Super League. They seem tireless in both attack and defense. Whilst we lost by a large margin and were poor I don't think we let ourselves down too badly. Definite improvement required before Friday though.

I really don't understand some of the comments on here and FB today. I haven't watched it on TV but from what I saw we were outgunned but tried hard and tried some off the cuff stuff that didn't quite come off.

A sub down and a player off for 10 minutes which I thought was a tough call too.
We had an 18 year old making his debut for crying out loud.

Their 2, 3, 6, 8, 9 and 10 are all current internationals.
Their 1 would get in if we decide he's British.
Throw in a Fiji international.
And in my opinion Knowles will play one day.

We tried and came up short. Let's just take the good bits like Croft and move on...... With no injuries.
No point bagging the team when they are doing it tough. That's the time to support the most.

Don’t forget the motm too poptart...Zeb Taia arguably the best second rower in the comp at the moment...saw an interview with John Bateman earlier in the week and Taia was nominated as the toughest opponent he faced in super league!

Superb side are Saints and there is no shame whatsoever getting knocked out by them...any chance we would have had would have been to go there at full strength with them missing a few big names...it wasn’t meant to be...

I see it as pointless criticising for picking Brough too because every fan on this page would have taken that gamble too...maybe a different story if Jowitt hadn’t got injured last week?

We gave our best and came up short to a brilliant Saints team...we unearthed another gem today though in Jack Croft...what a debut from the lad...looks to have a real bright future!

To suggest the effort and desire were missing is way off the mark. Saints the best team in the country just went through a patched up Wakefield side.

Clearly we’ve taken a risk with bringing some first teamers back early and not seeing the best from them - Ashurst, Miller, Broughy still bust. Didn’t work out but didn’t change the inevitable.

Personally I don’t think we let ourselves down today. Just beaten by a champion side. I understand people being disappointed as the season promises so much and has gone off the rails but the heart was there today for me.

I for one thought that most gave their all, Brough we now know shouldn't have played and it was obvious he was in pain but it wasn't helped by the fact that Miller went missing for large parts of the game. I thought for that first 20 minutes of the 2nd half you matched them man for man and as a team and that makes it scary that they won so easily in the end.
Thought the sin binning was fair as if Rocky had held the player down he would have got yellow so the ball steal when the tackle was complete deserved the same.

When England takes the field I some times worry one of his limbs will fall off, he signed a two year deal in 2017 with a 3rd year option for next season

If he plays on I will be genuinely worried for his safety
He gives its his all though absolutely no doubt

I can really take or leave Randall in terms of effectiveness but no probs with his effort

To suggest lynne and kirmo don’t try and should be moved on is genuinely the most stupid things I’ve ever seen on this board (and there is a lot of stupid comments)

Lynne has had a great season (he’s being a revelation I fact) and Danny has being great too, some one that still tackles round the legs instead of creating a scene from WWE

I also think Danny kirmond is still an essential part of the team and our main senior leader

We got beaten soundly missing several key players away at Sts

Didn't say there was no effort, said we'd been beaten on effort. If you thi k we put in more effort than Saints today you're deluded. They wanted that game more from start to finish. 8 tries and 8 different scorers tells you that they were up for it across the field, whereas we looked disinterested in lots of parts, especially when giving away silly penalties and turning over the ball easily. It was never going to be an easy task going to the league leaders with a bust team, but they made it easier for Saints than they could have done had they fought back following the many many errors

People who called sts invincible need to realise they're trophy less for 5 years. They were invincible last year apparently with Ben the bottler Barba. Wakey were close to doubling them by the way. To say they're NRL standard is laughable any NRL team would wipe the floor with them. To the media brigade who polish they're todgers every week, SL is a garbage comp almost like the mls with has beens and NRL rejects all over even at the top teams.
