Yes and it was the same Ganson who missed the blatant offside as a VR in the Hull/Hull KR derby last year, and now this incident at Wakefield. There was also another off-field incident last year which made the headlines for all the wrong reasons. It was always 'The Steve Ganson Show' when he was refereeing, and not much has changed. Collectively, the rest of the referees have not had as much bad publicity for themselves and the game as this guy has. He's an embarrassment to the game and we need to be rid asap.
There needs to be an official inquiry into this, and hopefully Tim Roby has the balls to tell the truth what was said to him, but I wont hold my breath.

Roby didn't have the balls to ignore Gansons orders, he just acted like his lap dog.

Also just seen the Keinhorst try on SL fulltime . Forward pass my harris.

Watched from the 1873 Suite and no one could not believe it was called forward. Its things like this and Ganson's visit to have a chat with Roby without both Coaches present that makes fear for the integrity of the game.

Very much agree with this entire post. He was the very worst choice to be the refs controller, as he never understood that no one was interested in paying to watch him and that a good ref should not be noticed.

Just watched the interview, i don't know if agar does it in all interviews but it was very noticeable that he never looked into the camera. I know its not the same as looking some one in the eye but he was almost looking over his shoulder for half the interview and down at the desk for some of it.

Just watched highlights and How Amor didnt get a red for that is beyond me. The Ali incident doesnt warrant a penalty as he slips and falls into Ali. The Keinhorst pass was Fine though and should have been given.

The interviewer was not sat opposite so not easy to do anyway.

As i said don't know if he does it in all his interviews but difficult or not i doubt if the interviewer was sitting over his shoulder. Having watched the highlights i agree with what he says about Roby's performance but you must have realised what i was getting at with not looking some one in the eye.

Someone is a bit different to a camera, It's only Stevo who likes talking to the camera instead of the person asking him questions.

Not so much about whether he was telling the truth, he just seemed to have the air of a man who wished he'd never brought the subject up. For what it's worth i believe it happened from whats been said but i think RA regrets saying it.

To be honest he often comes across that way in after match discussion.
In straight on interviews he is fine but he doesn't seem to like being there after the match.

If it was their choice i don't think many coaches would want to be there straight after the game but i think they are contracted to do it. I suppose its not bad if you've had a good win or gone down fighting to a big club but it must be terrible when its going the other way. I didn't know whether to feel sorry for lee radford or not this week but he wanted the job so he knew what came with it.
