There's ample street parking now, but any new development will naturally include some sort of restriction like permit holders only zones as planning permission condition (if it were every to be granted).

| If staying at BV was an option the council could help with parking if they made the old power station site a car park, during the week it could be park and ride for wakefield centre.

The new City Fields development will swallow that site up. Had this been earlier in the planning it would've been great to incorporate a new stadium within the masterplan.

Agree but going on past experiance this development could be years before it comes to fruition meanwhile for not too much expence we could get a decent size car park to bide us some time.

Not a bad option. Either way I still find it difficult to believe the scenario of staying at BV. 1, the club would have to buy the ground back and 2, find £5m from somewhere to develop the East stand. For a club that is just about covering itself with respect to incomings and outgoings I have no idea where that is going to come from.

| Car parking is horrendous at Headingly.
Never any talk of a move from there.
I would even say, at present, parking at Belle Vue is less of a problem than there.I have often had to walk further distance from the car to Headingly than from a car park in Wakefield to Belle Vue.

| If Matt Ryan was flying out today sometime he'll be here sometime Friday or possibly early Saturday as it's a 26 hour flight. Can't believe Godinet hasn't got his VISA yet and he played in the World Cup only a few months ago. It'll be too late for the Salford game now...

| They've all had a full pre-season training down under bar the trial games and are training with us from monday so their general strength and fitness shouldn't be that far off. Match fitness will be an issue whenever they first play so why not start early as possible and get some game time in them? With us playing the following thursady i'd have all three on the bench as a first hit out.

| Well it's either run with a dilapidated squad against Salford and keep them in training for another week or so. Which to me is as risky as putting them in the Squad for Salford, but atleast it gives them some game time to gel and get up to fitness. Either way they need game time, so get them on the pitch at Salford and take the gamble i say

| I agree.
Unless there is a concern when they run out at training they play.
Especially Godinet

| They'll have a couple of training sessions and then RA will decide who is worth their jersey for the game against Salford.
It's nice to get some good news and I cant wait for the season to start.

| Well that is a good question but Godinet allows Wildie and McShane to both play hooker so no one drops out there
Annakin being injured also makes space in back row.
Props are the issue
Salford will pick up on slow forwards so the best guys need to be picked, whether overseas or not.
