Horrible game esp after being 20 - 0 up but we fought back well after going behind.
We would have lost that in recent seasons so have to give the lads credit for winning and winning fairly
well in the end.

We played garbage for plenty of that and still won fairly easily in the end. I told you Leigh were poor, any half decent side would have beaten us. We need to tighten up for better teams ahead but that gives us plenty of top 8 wriggle room now.

Have to agree he seeemed to have belter but I can't wait to hear the travelling fans account because those commentators were rubbish. Hasn't anyone told them we have dropped the wildcats tag.

Well done lads it's seems we may have picked up a few injuries so hope everyone still ok

Jeez...listened to the game on Radio Leeds and what a nailbiter....me and swmbo all set for a suicide pact 15 mins into the second half, but fortunately we didn't go through with it !!
A 50 minute performance was enough to bag us the 2 points this time round, but it sure as hell isn't easy being a Wakey fan, is it ????

Great effort in a very mixed game. Even when we went behind, we never looked like we'd lose it. Even when we're not at our best, that's still the second highest amount of points Leigh have had put past them this season (Cas being top on 44)

Fantastic effort from a club with the lowest squad value. It goes to show that great team spirit is worth more than just a name on the back of a shirt

Some laughable mid game comments again...seriously, just don't log in...to go away and score 40 points and bring the two points home has to be applauded...

How many teams will put it all together for 80 minutes? Yet fans expect us to? All games will have periods where one team is on top...look at Warrington/Saints last night and both those clubs are perceived to be better than us...

How many Trin fans made the trip across? Another really good win which puts clear daylight between us and 7th with Widnes up next. I have to admit I was pulling my hair out when Leigh hit the front. We really do need to cut the silly errors out if we are to compete with the bigger teams.

Although the commentary team on Radio Leeds were obviously slightly biased in our favour, Phil Veivers was very scathing of some of the decisions that went Leigh's way. Amongst others, he said Acton should have been sin-binned for a blatant chicken-wing tackle on Fifita, but we didn't even get a penalty (just got put on report) and Hock definitely knocked on in the build up to Leigh's final try ???
They were truly amazed at MCB's outstanding try though....it sounded like a belter

I thought they got away with a cannonball on Fifita late on too. They're comfortably the dirtiest team in Super League, too limited to play any decent rugby and just have to resort to grubby tactics.

Also it's becoming unacceptable that some people ... (?) as soon as things start to turn sour... the very second something adversarial happens... post with vitriol, bordering on manic glee... that the sky is falling and we will all be horribly murdered in our beds... yet when the game is eventually won... ultimately with some comfort.... disappear into the mist and make no supportive or congratulatory posting.

I am not as rose tinted as some and do believe that honesty is the best policy.

It was a great last 20 minutes by us to come back as strong as we did.

We really do need to stop switching off like we do though, if it was once a flood then fair enough, but we do seem to do it every week. To me that suggests there could be issues here which need addressing.

They say you learn from your mistakes, if we do that, and cut this out, then the true potential of this squad could be realised.

At least Chester will be able to give some of them a week off against Dewsbury next week, so hopefully we'll be okay for the Magic Weekend match against Widnes

Agreed. Some people need to stay off here until the final whistle is blown. Appreciate this is a forum for people to share their views however it is disapointing reading through the negative comments before the game has ended. That aside a great win against a team who have lost 6-7 games on the bounce who no doubt targeted this as a winning game. Leigh isn't an easy place to come away with a win. Onto magic weekend.
